George Roop has been pulled from an upcoming featherweight fight at UFC 149 due to an injury, Daniel Pineda has agreed to step in and fight Antonio Carvalho at the event. Pineda is coming off of his first loss in the UFC, which came via unanimous decision to Mike Brown at UFC 146. Carvalho is currently winless in UFC competition, dropping a fight to Felipe Arantas at UFC 142 this past January. UFC 149 takes place on July 21st at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with Urijah Faber and Renan Barao headlining.
