Following the injury to Terry Etim, Jamie Varner has agreed to step in to fight Joe Lauzon in a lightweight contest at UFC On Fox IV. Lauzon has won two of three heading into this fight, most notably defeating Melvin Guillard at UFC 136. Varner returned to the UFC at UFC 146, when he defeated the top ranked Edson Barboza by TKO in the first round. UFC On Fox IV takes place on August 4th at the staples Center in Los Angeles, California with Mauricio Rua and Brandon Vera headlining.
