3XWrestling Celebrates 7th Anniversary In Spectacular Fashion
Ring of Honor Stars Richards, O'Reilly, Kozina Part of Huge Wrestling Card
DES MOINES, Iowa – The all-stars of Midwest pro wrestling will be in action once again on Friday, July 27 as 3XWrestling (3XW) holds its 7th Anniversary Event in Des Moines.
The stacked card of eight matches is set to showcase the top wrestling in the Midwest and features three very special guest stars from Ring of Honor Wrestling (ROH).
Former ROH World champion Davey Richards - considered by many fans to be one of the best professional wrestlers in the world today - returns to Des Moines for the first time since 2008 to challenge the best technical wrestler in the Midwest, "The Professional" Benjamin Sailer, for the 3XW Heavyweight championship.
Kyle O'Reilly, one of ROH's top strikers, also returns to Des Moines to battle "The World's Fittest Wrestler" Mark Sterling, a former 3XW Heavyweight champion, in their first one-on-one battle.
Tony Kozina, a former two-time NWA World Jr. Heavyweight champion and one of the top active veterans in the sport, makes his 3XW debut against "The Bulletproof Tiger" Jaysin Strife, one of the quickest and most exciting wrestlers in the Midwest today.
Five other highly-anticipated matches round out the card, including the American Bulldogs defending the 3XW Tag Team championship against long-time rivals the MMA and the 3XW debut of Ryan Kidd, the top rising young star in California today.
The 7th Anniversary Event will be held at the Baratta’s@Forte Center in Des Moines. The event will be filmed for future airing on 3XW’s weekly television program on Iowa CW Network affiliates. 3XW’s TV show airs Saturday at 6 p.m. on KWKB channel 20 (eastern Iowa) and 1:30 a.m. Monday on KCWI channel 23 (central Iowa).
Doors open for the 7th Anniversary Event at 7 p.m. (6:45 p.m. for advance ticket holders) for a 7:30 p.m. start time. The Barratta's@Forte Center is located at 615 3rd St. in beautiful downtown Des Moines.
