UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo defending the gold against Erik Koch, a fight originally scheduled for this weekend’s UFC 149 event. Thus far during his title run, Aldo has defeated the likes of Urijah Faber, Manny Gamburyan, Mark Hominick, Kenny Florian and Chad Mendes. Koch earned the title shot after a unanimous decision victory over Jonathan Brookins back at UFC Ultimate Fight Night 25. UFC 153 takes place on October 13th at the HSBC Arena in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil with the aforementioned title fight headlining.
