Due to the recent ankle injury to heavyweight fighter Ben Rothwell, the upcoming UFC On Fox IV card has undergone a little shuffling. The heavyweight battle between Travis Browne and Devin Cole, Rothwell’s replacement, has been moved from the Fox main card to the Fuel TV preliminary card. Replacing that fight on the Fox main card will be a welterweight battle between Mike Swick and Damarques Johnson, originally on the Fuel TV preliminary card.
Also, since the Matt Mitrione/Rob Broughton fight was scratched, a Facebook preliminary card fight between Ulysses Gomez and John Moraga has been moved to the Fuel TV preliminary card. That move means that for the first time in well over a year, there will be no fights broadcast on Facebook for a UFC event. UFC On Fox IV takes place on August 4th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California with Mauricio Rua and Brandon Vera headlining.
