KnokxPerience Live Report - Saturday, July 28th, 2012

On Saturday, July 28th, KnokX Pro returned to The Domain with another exciting afternoon of KnokXperience action.

As fans filed into The Domain, excitement was already in the air as international superstar Rikishi was returning home after recent appearances on WWE RAW, including the program’s historic 1,000th episode.

As the show started, Rikishi immediately rewarded all of KnokX Pro’s fans by coming out and addressing the crowd. He talked about his experiences at WWE RAW, and expressed to the KnokX Pro crowd that coming to The Domain and performing for them on every show is equally as satisfying as performing in front of millions of people on WWE RAW, and he wanted to do “something special” for them. The lights went down, “Billie Jean” started playing on the loudspeakers, the fans started clapping, and a spotlight shone on the ring. Rikishi proceeded to bust out the dance moves that made him famous, starting the show by putting smiles on the faces of the entire crowd.

The action then started with an exciting contest between two masked men, longtime fan favorite Eyez In Disguise (accompanied by new manager Jezette) and El Surrucho. In recent weeks, El Surrucho has slowly gained the favor of the fans, but he has not dulled the aggression of his attack. Eight minutes of extremely competitive action culminated in Eyez obtaining victory via a rollup pin. After the match, Eyez and El Surrucho shook hands as a sign of the respect that they have gained for one another during their encounters.

Up next was a matchup between rookie cruiserweight sensation Pedro, and the debuting monstrosity known as Kratos. Despite being outweighed by over 100 pounds of pure muscle, Pedro did not go down without a fight. Every time Kratos hit a devastating maneuver that would hospitalize a normal man, Pedro would kick out and throw everything he had at the big man. Kratos’ power would eventually prove to be too much though, as a vicious spear would finally put down Pedro for the 1-2-3.

The next contest was between the Samoan behemoth J. Bleedah and the mysterious Rapture #2. For several minutes, the mind games played by Rapture #2 threw Bleedah off his game, but once again size would reign supreme. Bleedah overcame attacks on his leg by Rapture #2, and crushed his opponent with a thunderous powerslam for the pin. After the match, Bleedah celebrated his victory until he was attacked by an unknown assailant. Using a mix of power and aerial tactics, this unknown assailant left Bleedah lying in the ring. At press time, we do not know the exact identity of this assailant, but rumors abounded throughout the afternoon that the son of The Tonga Kid was coming to The Domain. The grace and speed he showed with his aerial assault was very reminiscent of The Tonga Kid’s heyday. KnokX Pro sources are working on confirming his identity, but if this man is indeed the son of The Tonga Kid, this would make the second family member in as many shows that has assaulted J. Bleedah after what Thamiko Fatu did to him at the last KnokXperience show.

After intermission, the burly mountain man known as Grizz took on the mean bully, Poncho Castillo. Castillo resorted to several devious tactics throughout the match, but the sheer will power of Grizz would be too much to overcome. Despite things looking bad for him at several points in the match, Grizz summoned both his own strength and the support of the fans to rally and defeat Castillo. After the match, Castillo offered his hand to Grizz in a similar manner displayed earlier in the day after the first match. Castillo however would hit Grizz with a low-blow when Grizz shook his hand. Castillo continued his attack on Grizz until Grizz’s good friend Big Mac came down to the ring and saved the day. Big Mac sent Castillo running for the hills, and helped Grizz to the locker room.

The final match of the day was a wild and chaotic six-man tag team match. On one side was former European Cruiserweight Champion Parker Greaves, Samoan wrestling great Black Pearl, and returning home after his appearance on the 1,000th episode of WWE RAW, the legendary Rikishi. The other team consisted of the cocky Maverick, his “big little brother” Zander Jones, and the newest member of The Profilers, Brian Tannen. The referee had his work cut out for him in this match, as in addition to the illegal triple-team tactics of The Profilers, he also had to deal with the unpopular team’s new manager, Legendary Dan Destroy, on the outside of the ring. Greaves took most of the punishment for his team, but was eventually able to break free and tag in Rikishi. With the energy level running high from his recent appearances on WWE RAW and his dance display at the beginning of the show, Rikishi cleaned house alongside Black Pearl and Greaves and scored the pin on Maverick. When the match was over, Maverick got dragged to the corner by Rikishi, and became the latest victim of Rikishi’s #ASSTOOFACE attack, much to the delight of the fans inside The Domain.

The show ended with Rikishi, Black Pearl, and Parker Greaves celebrating inside the ring as all of the fans in attendance celebrated outside the ring. The day started with Rikishi putting smiles on everyone’s faces. It was only fitting that the day would end that way as well.
