Patricky Freire, as the duo will clash in what most likely will be the main event of Bellator 76 in the country of Canada. Alvarez rebounded from his Bellator Lightweight Title loss by defeating rival Shinya Aoki by TKO at Bellator 66. Freire is coming off of a loss in the season six lightweight tournament opening round to Lloyd Woodard at Bellator 62. Bellator 76 takes place on October 12th at the Caesars Windsor Hotel & Casino in Windsor, Ontario, Canada with the aforementioned fighters headlining.
