A key welterweight battle will be taking place at UFC On FX V as Aaron Simpson will be making his second welterweight appearance against Mike Pierce. Simpson is currently undefeated as a welterweight in the UFC, having defeated Kenny Robertson at UFC On Fuel TV IV. Pierce has rotated wins and losses in his last five UFC appearances, with his last fight being a victory over Carlos Eduardo Locha. UFC On FX V takes place on October 5th at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota with Travis Browne and Antonio Silva headlining.
