Fight #1 - UFC Flyweight Division Fight
Ulysses Gomez (9-2-0) vs. John Moraga (10-1-0)
Referee: Herb Dean
Round One
The round begins with both fighters testing their range with some jabs, both fighters then exchange a few leg kicks. Moraga then forces Gomez up against the cage wall for a short time, Moraga then lands a blow to the rib cage of Gomez. Moraga then stuns Gomez with a kick to the midsection of Gomez, Gomez then grabs a hold of Moraga and tries to take him down. Moraga then returns to attacking the rib cage of Gomez with strikes, Moraga then catches Gomez with a elbow strike before knocking him out with an uppercut/left cross combination.
Fight Result: John Moraga def. Ulysses Gomez by KO via punches (3:46, R1)
Fight #2 - UFC Featherweight Division Fight: Manny Gamburyan def. Michihiro Omigawa by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27)
(Note: My computer froze midway through the fight and all the stuff I typed for the three rounds of the fight was lost, I apologize for the error.)
Fight #3 - UFC Heavyweight Division Fight
Philip De Fries (8-1-0-1NC) vs. Oli Thompson (9-3-0)
Referee: John McCarthy
Round One
The round begins with De Fries catching Thompson with a counter right, Thompson then forces De Fries up against the cage wall. De Fries changes positions with Thompson while eating a few knee strikes, the referee separates the fighters after inactivity and De Fries forces Thompson against the cage wall. De Fries then scores a very brief takedown on Thompson, De Fries then catches Thompson with a knee strike. The referee breaks the fighters again after inactivity and Thompson attacks De Fries with leg kicks, the fighters battle along the cage wall as the round ends.
Round Two
The round begins with Thompson keeping De Fries at bay with leg kicks, De Fries then drops Thompson with a straight right. De Fries then pounces on Thompson with strikes as he stood back up, De Fries then pops Thompson with an elbow strike as they battle on the cage wall. Thompson then catches De Fries with a punch as they split apart, De Fries responds by nailing Thompson with a knee strike. De Fries then puts Thompson on the ground and he gets back control, De Fries then starts nailing Thompson with some ground and pound. De Fries locks in the face crank and a tap out follows.
Fight Result: Philip De Fries def. Oli Thompson by submission via face crank (4:16, R2)
Fight #4 - UFC Featherweight Division Fight
Josh Grispi (14-3-0) vs. Rani Yahya (16-7-0)
Referee: Herb Dean
Round One
The round begins with Grispi chasing at Yahya while throwing a variety of punches, Yahya slips during a takedown attempt and he eats a few strikes. Yahya then scores a takedown on Grispi and he gets the full guard, Yahya then advances to the half guard on Grispi. Grispi eventually forces Yahya back into the full guard, Yahya responds by quickly advancing to side control. Yahya rolls for the North/South choke and Grispi eventually taps out.
Fight Result: Rani Yahya def. Josh Grispi by submission via North/South choke (3:15, R1)
Fight #5 - UFC Light Heavyweight Division Fight
Phil Davis (9-1-0) vs. Wagner Prado (8-0-0)
Referee: Luis Cobian
Round One
The round begins with Davis nearly nailing Prado with a front kick, Prado then pops Davis with a wild right. Davis then accidentally pokes Prado in the eye and the fight is halted, the fight is stopped by the athletic commission doctor.
Fight Result: Phil Davis fought Wagner Prado to a no contest via eye poke (R1)
Fight #6 - UFC Featherweight Division Fight
Cole Miller (18-6-0) vs. Nam Phan (17-11-0)
Referee: John McCarthy
Round One
The round begins with Miller quickly catching Phan with a front kick, Miller then starts attacking Phan with some jabs. Phan responds by landing a blow to the midsection of Miller, Phan follows that up with a multi-punch combination to the body of Miller. Miller then attacks Phan with a variety of kicks, Miller then nails Phan with a two punch combination to the face. Phan then rocks Miller with two left hooks to the head, Phan keeps Miller on his heals by catching him with a right. Phan then works over the body and head of Miller with punches, Miller resumes his jabbing attack on Phan. Phan attacks Miller with another combination as the round ends.
Round Two
The round begins with Miller keeping Phan at bay with a lot of jabs, Miller then connects with a high kick on Phan. Miller connects with a body blow before eating a left hook from Phan, Miller then lands a kick to the belly region of Phan. Miller then pops Phan with a measured right to the face, Phan then starts connecting with a few rights on Miller. Miller then catches Phan with multiple jabs to the face, Miller then uses his length to catching Phan with a front kick. Phan responds by nailing Miller with a left hook to the rib cage, Phan then unloads a three punch combination on Miller, Miller then stuns Phan with two rights to the noggin. Phan uses his fakes to pop Miller with a left hook, Phan rocks Miller with a few more left hooks as the round ends.
Round Three
The round begins with Phan trying to land some left hooks on Miller, Phan then rocks Miller with a left hook. Phan then starts pouncing on Miller with a variety of punches, Miller tries to slow down Phan by throwing some leg kicks. Miller then goes for the takedown on Phan and it is easily blocked, Phan then attacks the body of Miller with some hooks. Miller then barely connects with a knee strike on Phan, Miller then catches Phan with a few punches before eating another left hook. Phan then starts landing a few counter lefts on Miller, Miller responds by catching Phan with a few rights. Miller then attempts a high kick and flying knee strike on Phan, Miller lands a few more kicks as the round ends.
Fight Result: Nam Phan def. Cole Miller by split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28)
