Bellator Fighting Championships Featherweight Champion Pat Curran suffered a cracked orbital bone while training and his title defense against Patricio Freire is off of Bellator 73. Patricio Freire is expected to remain on the card, but no opponent has been announced as of this writing. There is also no word yet on when the title fight will be rescheduled, but sometime during the seventh season is expected. Bellator 73 takes place on August 24th at the Harrah’s Tunica Hotel & Casino with Patricio Freire still expected to headline.
