One month ago tonight, the Millennium Wrestling Federation created professional wrestling's first ever cyber-charity event MWF CARES DAY. Our goal was to show non-fans the tremendous work this great sport can do in the hands of the right people. While preparing for it, two weeks before it was set to take place, we learned the severity of how bad off our then friend "The Ugandan Giant" Kamala's health had become. At that point, it was our mission to raise money and awareness to help with his medical and life expenses, as well as work "behind the scenes" to help get the replacement right leg he needed to be able to walk, work and earn a living to support his family. Until July 17th, it was a 100% positive experience. There are sadly too many veterans of this sport that could use a helping hand. However, on that day, while hospitalized for my own medical issues, the cold, selfish, mean spirited side of Kamala / James Harris came to light, which ultimately led to James' infamous YouTube video, making a fool of himself in front of loincloths talking about how myself, the Millennium Wrestling Federation, Dawn Marie, WWE and Vince McMahon had screwed him over - making this video with full knowledge that the money promised him had been sent and in Dawn Marie's case, returned to her. His video also cost him the efforts of those trying to get him the replacement right leg he needed his insurance company wouldn't pay for. The situation has been talked about a great deal, but, if you were caught up in enjoying your summer, you can read an extremely detailed response to Kamala's lies below. Just because James Harris was a wrestling superstar on television does not excuse him as a human being from going online and spreading lies about people to try to get people to feel sorry for him instead of help him:

Sadly, James Harris' actions disgusted me. I was encouraged, strongly, by those in the MWF inner circle and friends in the industry to "forget" about trying to help people. For a short while, I agreed with them. Instead of focusing on my own health battling a horrible CRPS flare in both feet, unable to walk, I was spending my days explaining and trying to make sense of Harris' cowardly attacks. However, what's right is right, and our mission is "right." As I've always stated, I want the two non-biological kids in my life, two gifts from God named Brandon and Devaughn, to see that stepping up to the plate is the right thing to do. Anyone can say "geez, that's too bad"; it's another to take your time and effort to do something about it. Fast forward to this SummerSlam Sunday, August 19th:

This Sunday, we're going to go back to what MWF CARES DAY was all about - doing some good for good people. While the wrestling world has its eyes on WWE SummerSlam in LA, we encourage you to visit BostonWrestling.com, as we'll not only be auctioning off two great items, but, to entice your generosity, we'll be airing the only ever match between Daniel Bryan and "Million Dollar Investment" Tommaso Ciampa. This match was on the debut MWF Cyberstarz TV program, and took place while Bryan was still WWE US Champion - unheard of for a regional wrestling promotion to present the fans a match like this live.
We will be auctioning off a brand new WWE Extreme Rules 2012 pay-per-view chair. This was given to fans that purchased a $300 live event ticket and was the night Brock Lesnar returned to WWE to face John Cena. 100% of the money raised (outside of Paypal fees and shipping) will go to our good friends at Special Olympics, who have named us Special Olympics Partners in 2011 and 2012 for our on-going work with them.
That same night, we'll be auctioning off a brand new WWE Over The Limit 2012 pay-per-view chair. Again, this was given to fans that spent $300 to be at the PPV live and has Randy Orton on the chair. 100% of the money raised (outside of Paypal fees and shipping) will be donated to the Cauliflower Alley Club, who I've been a proud member and supporter of for over a decade. The CAC is a trusted non-profit that helps out veterans of the sport with medical expenses, life expenses, and sadly, even funeral and after life expenses. We want our work and effort to go to the CAC, not a man who spit on our efforts.
