Fight #5 - Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Division Fight

TJ Cook (12-4-0) vs. Ovince St. Preux (11-5-0)

Referee: Mike Beltran

Round One

The round begins with Cook nailing St. Preux with a left hook to the rib cage, St. Preux then catches Cook with a knee strike. Cook responds by wobbling St. Preux with some leg kicks, St. Preux quickly recovers by nailing Cook with a head kick. St. Preux then drops Cook with a left hook, St. Preux pounces on Cook and Cook finds a way to stand back up. Cook recovers by nailing St. Preux with a bunch of uppercuts and other strikes, Cook then catches St. Preux with an uppercut to the rib cage. St. Preux then briefly drops Cook with a hard blow to the midsection, St. Preux then scores a takedown on Cook and he gets the half guard. St. Preux advances to back control on Cook, Cook scrambles to get St. Preux off of him and the fight standing as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with St. Preux barely connecting with a left on Cook, St. Preux follows that up by landing a body kick on Cook. St. Preux then crushes Cook with a hard head kick, Cook responds by catching St. Preux with a few rights. St. Preux then starts effectively using his jab on Cook, St. Preux then accidentally kicks Cook low and the fight is halted. The fight resumes with Cook catching St. Preux with a counter left, St. Preux then scores a takedown on Cook and he gets the full guard. St. Preux then starts attacking Cook with some ground and pound before getting side control, St. Preux then moves to full mount on Cook. St. Preux then transitions to back control on Cook as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with St. Preux immediately nailing Cook with a left hook and Cook goes out cold.

Fight Result: Ovince St. Preux def. TJ Cook by KO via punch (0:20, R3)

Fight #6 - Strikeforce Middleweight Division Fight

Lumumba Sayers (6-2-0) vs. Anthony Smith (16-7-0)

Referee: Herb Dean

Round One

The round begins with Sayers immediately dragging Smith to the ground, Smith scrambles and he finds himself on top of Sayers. Smith then starts attacking Sayers with some ground and pound, Sayers and Smith scramble and they both stand up. Smith then clobbers Sayers with an elbow strike to the head, Smith follows it up with a body kick and leg kick on Sayers. Sayers then drops Smith with a left, Sayers pounces on Smith and he attacks him with some ground and pound. Smith then rolls for the triangle choke on Sayers and the tap out follows.

Fight Result: Anthony Smith def. Lumumba Sayers by submission via triangle choke (3:52, R1)

Fight #7 - Strikeforce Welterweight Division Fight

Roger Bowling (11-2-0) vs. Tarec Saffiedine (12-3-0)

Referee: Jason Herzog

Round One

The round begins with Bowling cracking Saffiedine with a right to the belly, Bowling also starts nailing Saffiedine with leg kicks. Saffiedine quickly responds with some leg kicks of his own, Bowling then continues his attack on the rib cage of Saffiedine. Saffiedine then grabs a hold of Bowling to hit him with a knee strike, Saffiedine waits a short time before attacking Bowling with more knee strikes. Saffiedine then nails Bowling with a couple of leg kicks, Saffiedine follows that up by crushing Bowling with more knee strikes. Bowling then chases after Saffiedine to nail him with a few rights, both fighters then exchange knee strikes while on the cage wall. Saffiedine lands one more leg kick as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Saffiedine continuing his leg kick attack on Bowling, Saffiedine then nails Bowliong with a two punch combination after eating a body kick. Saffiedine accidentally pokes Bowling in the eye and the fight is halted, the fight resumes with Bowling popping Saffiedine with a left. The fighters then start exchanging a bunch of leg kicks, Bowling then nails Saffiedine with a two punch combo. Saffiedine then attacks Bowling with a leg kick/punch combination, Saffiedine then lands a knee strike on Bowling. The fighters then exchange knee strikes while on the cage wall, Bowling then puts Saffiedine on the ground for a split second. Bowling then clobbers Saffiedine with a counter right before eating an uppercut, both fighters then exchange a few rights as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with both fighters exchanging a few kicks, Saffiedine then gets a hold of Bowling to hit him with knee strikes. Saffiedine then returns to his leg kick attack on Bowling, Bowling then starts popping Saffiedine with jabs. Bowling then forces Saffiedine up against the cage wall after blocking a kick, Saffiedine regains control to assault Bowling with knee strikes. Saffiedine then catches Bowling with a series of uppercuts, Bowling then catches Saffiedine with a four punch combination. Saffiedine then drags Bowling to the ground and he gets back control, Saffiedine locks in the rear naked choke as the round ends.

Fight Result: Tarec Saffiedine def. Roger Bowling by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Fight #8 - Strikeforce Middleweight Division Fight

Ronaldo Souza (15-3-0) vs. Derek Brunson (9-1-0)

Referee: Mike Beltran

Round One

The round begins with Brunson keeping Souza at bay with a variety of kicks, Souza then drops Brunson with a right uppercut. Souza then drops Brunson twice more after he stood up and the referee jumps in.

Fight Result: Ronaldo Souza def. Derek Brunson by TKO via strikes (0:41, R1)

Main Event - Strikeforce Women’s Bantamweight Title Fight

Ronda Rousey (5-0-0) (Champion) vs. Sarah Kaufman (15-1-0)

Referee: Herb Dean

Round One

The round begins with Rousey popping Kaufman with a few jabs, Rousey then scores a trip takedown on Kaufman. Rousey then locks in the arm bar and the tap out follows after a brief struggle.

Fight Result: Ronda Rousey def. Sarah Kaufman by submission via arm bar (0:54, R1) to retain the Strikeforce Women’s Bantamweight Title
