Now that Cat Zingano has moved onto Strikeforce, the undefeated Kim Connor-Hamby has replaced her at Invicta FC III and will fight Leslie Smith at the event. Connor-Hamby is an undefeated fighter who has spent her entire career in the Arkansas Xtreme Combat promotion. Smith competed at the first Invicta FC event, fighting Kaitlin Young to a split draw after three rounds of action. Invicta FC III takes place on October 6th at the Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas with Jessica Penne and Naho Sugiyama headlining.
