Next, while they were still in the ring, "King" Seth Delays' servant James Blvd came to the ring wearing a suit. He said that Delay demanded him to wear a suit tonight, but since Delay wasn't there, that he was just going to go home for the night. Right after he said this, Spectras' cell phone began to ring, it was none other than Delay. He asked to speak to Blvd, Blvd began to get irate, and say that there was no way that he was going to run the concession stand tonight and hung up!! As he tried to ditch and leave the ring, the Dudes grabbed him and drug him to the front to fufill the duties that he was ordered to do. Ballenger def. He said that last week, his plans to win the North Ga Championship, and become a grand slam champion in APW were ruined. As well as his plans to once again become NWA Southern States Champion. He said that someone was responsible for playing Vains' music during his match and distracting him and he wanted to know who it was. He stated that he would hold the show hostage until someone confessed. He began to ask cameramen, sound techs, even me(Jonathan Feltner) if we played the music, of course we didn't. When he reentered the ring with a chair, "The Encore" Kevin Blue came down to the ring. Talent told him that surely he knew that it wasn't him that done it. Blue said that he had all the respect in the world for Talent, but when Talent made some less than respectful comments about Vains' father last week, that he lost all respect for him. Talent was furious and suckerpunched Blue, Blue retaliated and the fight was on, Talent retreated and said that if Blue wanted to play in a mans game, that he would face him in the main event tonight. "The Encore" Kevin Blue by pinfall in 7:01 -After the match, Talent began to pummel Blue, to teach him a lesson I guess. His attack was furious, when out of nowhere, Vain sprung to the ring, attacking Talent to gain retribution not only for what happened at Freedom Fight, but for the comments that Talent made about Vains' sick father. As the fight got more heated, the lockerroom and officials came to the ring to break them up, but it didn't work. They kept fighting, when Talent got out of the ring, Vain grabbed a mic, and said that he had been through hell for the past 3 weeks. But all that was nothing compared to the hell he was going to put Talent through next week. Because they were going to have a fight. No rules! No DQ's! Falls count anywhere! It was going to be a Ty Cobb Streetfight! Talent was irate and began screaming at Vain. The fight spilled into the back, and even went into the parking lot, as the fans were going to their cars, as Talent attacked Vain from behind, knocking him to ground hard. The officials and some of the babyfaces took him back in to be checked. -As a side note, a mysterious woman came to ring for a few matches during the evening to observe.I later learned that her name was Brandy Scotch Baker. I'm not sure what she wants, or why she is APW? I guess we will find out. Also Main Event Wrestling has been approved by the Indiana Dept of Military to run shows at the any of the National Guard Armories in Indiana. From Larry Goodman: Welcome to GWH's lcoverage of the 11th annual Dragon Con Wrestling show from the Centennial Ballroom of the Hyatt Regency in Atlanta on Friday, August 31. Quite an impressive array of talent backstage tonight. DCW is the only place where this group gets together. This is one rowdy crowd, many of them in wacky costumes. These fantasy geeks are into big spots on comedy, and couldn't care less about good wrestling. A good bit of alcohol is being consumed. The room isn't packed but it's a big space and there are at least 500 people in here. DCW bookers Tiny Dockery and AJ opened the show to chants of "Lucky Charms". AJ introduced the founder of NWA Anarchy Jerry Palmer, who in turn inducted Jeff G. Bailey and "Reverend" Dan Wilson into the Dragon Con Wrestling Hall of Fame. The entire locker room filed out to ringside for this. Bailey said it's about god damn time. The Rev let out a celebratory blood curdling scream. (1) Bo Newsom defeated CB Gibson and John Skyler and Chip Day to retain the DCW Lightweight Title. Gibson was doing a new character that got a "Jersey Shore" chant. I have no idea why. The crowd reactions are off the chain. Skyler and Newsom were the heels that couldn't get along. They did a tower of doom spot with Skyler taking a full rotation bump off the top. Newsom ended a train of big moves with a decisive spinebuster on Day. (2) Jacoby Boykins defeated Manchild to become the number one contender for the DCW Cup. Boykins was in a car accident a few weeks back and hasn't wrestled much since. He got a "let's go black guy" chant. Manchild was way over with the geeks. He hit a 300 pound moonsault and the place came unglued. Much to the fans' dismay, Boykins kicked out. Manchild went for a Too Cold Scorpio "Drop the Bomb". It missed and Boykins pinned him with running power slam. The fans hated on the finish. (3) Nemesis defeated Bobby Moore in a 50 chops match. Tiny announced the added stipulation to spice things up. Maybe not the best of ideas. There were three refs out to keep track of the count. Moore whacked Nemesis over the head with baking pan and tied him to the ropes. Nemesis broke free and strapped Moore to the tree of woe to deliver the final series of blows. Afterward, Nemesis tied Moore to a chair and offered to let any fan with a buck in his pocket chop Moore. Fans rushed towards the ring, but cooler heads prevailed. (4) Canadian Kid defeated Jacob Ashworth Johnny Dangerous and Adrian Hawkins and Mike Mosley and Monster Guy in 6 way elimination match. Some imposing power moves by Ashworht and Mosley. Match went on a long time without any elimination and was starting to drag. Ref Dee Byers carried a message from the back to take it home. The eliminations came fast and furious ending with Canadian Kid pinning Mosley with a destroyer. Palmer pretended to congratulate Canadian dude then clubbed him across the face. Mosley and Hawkins decimated the poor guy. Palmer clocked the ref for good measure. (5) Shaun Tempers defeated Billy Buck to retain the NWA North American Championship. The natives are getting restless. This was a good match that had build and psychology. This is not a crowd for nuances. Buck hit a stunner for a near fall. Tempers blocked the superkick and went for the Temptation spray, but ate a superkick before he could use it. Tempers kicked out at the last split second, gave Buck a low blow behind the back of referee Byers, and hit the hangman's neckbreaker. Miss Rachael introduced her close personal friend, Hall of famer Jeff G. Bailey, future HOFer Murder One and Andrew Pendleton III. Bailey wondered what was happening to his beloved Dragon Con with Batmans and Supermans instead of this retarded Steampunk crap. It was interesting that he brought that up. It was a small sample, but I didn't find this year's costuming to be as inspired this year. Murder one got on the mic. Racist humor abounds with the crowds at Dragon Con shows. What's up with that? Anyway, Murder said he was more than happy to **** white girls. AP3 made a vile sexual remark to a girl in the front row. Hate Junkies came out. Rev said Bailey was an asshole and Murder was a closet geek. Rev claimed Murder had a stack of comic books a mile high. (6) Murder One & Andrew Pendleton III (with Jeff G. Bailey & Miss Rachael) defeated Hate Junkies (Dany Only & Stryknyn with Reverend Dan Wilson) to become the new DCW tag champs. Only did a wild and crazy rolling dive over the top that brought the house down. Junkies then executed a classic doomsday device on Pendleton, but Murder came out of nowhere to pin Only with the Ether (RKO). (7) Seth Delay defeated Brodie Chase to win the DCW Cup. I was drifting in and out of the backstage area and missed most of this. They did a comedy spot sequence that ended with the ref giving Delay a body slam. Chase used hair pulls to bounce Delay's crotch on the top turnbuckle. Chase hit the butterfly DDT but Delay got a foot over the ropes. Delay pulled out the brass knucks. Chase tried for a powerbomb and Delay konked him with the knucks for the 1-2-3. The fans chanted "bullshit". (8) AJ won a 20 man battle royal. The crowd was starting to thin out. Slim J, Azrael and Ice came out, each carrying a box of Lucky Charms. Booker AJ said he was going to finish his career in this match. Among the participants were John Skyler, Mike Posey, Corey Hollis, some guys from earlier matches, and some old geezers that came from I don't know where. Numerous cookie sheets were brought into play. Lucky Charms were strewn around the ring like confetti. Azrael and Slim busted out some of their cool combo moves. Slim, Azrael and Ice all eliminated themselves leaving AJ as the last man standing. AJ lead the crowd in a Dragon Con chant to close a show that started a lot stronger than it finished.

Xavier Woods aka Austin Creed was running around in a weird get up. Woods couldn't wrestle due to his WWE contract but he enjoys coming in for these shows every year.
