Fabio Maldonado has gotten his wish and he will be replacing an injured Quinton Jackson at UFC 153, he now faces Glover Teixeira at the event. Maldonado was originally set to face Jorgen Kruth at UFC On Fuel TV V, but campaigned for this fight once “Rampage†got injured. Teixeira is currently undefeated in UFC competition, having defeated Kyle Kingsbury at UFC 146 by submission. UFC 153 takes place on October 13th at the HSBC Arena in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil with Anderson Silva and Stephan Bonnar headlining.
