Sarah Kaufman has suffered an injury and has been pulled from Invicta FC III, replacing her against Kaitlin Young will be Leslie Smith. Young is looking for her first Invicta FC victory, after fighting Leslie Smith to a draw (Invicta FC I) and suffering a defeat to Liz Carmouche (Invicta FC II). Smith has already fought Kaitlin Young, as the two battled to a split draw back at the inaugural Invicta FC event. Due to the line-up change, Kim Connor-Hamby will fight Raquel Pennington at the event, instead of Leslie Smith. Invicta FC III takes place on October 6th at the Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas with Jessica Pene and Naho Sugiyama headlining.
