KnokxPerience Live Report - Saturday, September 22nd, 2012

For five weeks, the anger and energy of the stars of KnokX Pro had built up. On Saturday, September 22nd, that anger and energy was unleashed in front of a loud and boisterous KnokX Pro crowd.

The evening began with an appearance from the Urban Empire Champion, TMD. He gloated that there were no challenges left for him in KnokX Pro, and as Urban Empire Champion, he had defeated every guy on the roster. KnokX Pro female wrestler Jezette appeared on the stage and noted that, yes, TMD had defeated every “guy” on the roster, but he had yet to defeat her. TMD initially refused the challenge, but eventually accepted after Jezette called him a phrase that we will not repeat here. In the ring, Jezette proved that she is not to be taken lightly, almost pinning TMD on several occasions. In the end though, TMD utilized some underhanded tactics involving the Urban Empire Championship belt to score the pin. After the match, TMD attempted to continue attacking Jezette, but Parker Greaves came to her rescue and ran him off. Greaves then challenged TMD to a Tuxford Street Fight. TMD accepted the challenge, but only on the condition that the match happens later in the night.

The next match was a battle between two fan favorites, the masked EyeZ In Disguise and cruiserweight upstart Pedro. This bout initially saw some friendly scientific wrestling with fans backing both wrestlers, but as the match progressed, Pedro started being more aggressive with attack on EyeZ. EyeZ fought back and was able to score the victory. After the match, Eyez went to shake Pedro’s hand in the spirit of sportsmanship. Pedro refused at first, but then angrily slapped EyeZ hand and stormed back into the locker room to the disapproval of some in the audience.

Up next was tag team action. The next chapter of the ongoing war between the Los Angeles Templars and The Profilers ensued. The Templars were represented by “The Count of California” Black Pearl and newcomer aKILLeez (“The Samoan Werewolf”). The Profilers were represented by Maverick and his brother Zander Jones. For a long portion of the bout, Maverick and Zander Jones used their experience as a team to take advantage of the inexperience of aKILLeez. aKILLeez was able to rally and tag in Black Pearl, turning the tide in the Templars’ favor. aKILLeez was able to recover and displayed his exciting combination of power and aerial ability to attain the victory for the Templars. Their celebration after the match would not last though, as they were attacked by Maverick and Zander Jones, who left Black Pearl and aKILLeez lying as the show entered intermission.

After a brief intermission, KnokX Pro ring announcer WebRay introduced Ryan Eclarin, the newest student at the KnokX Pro Wrestling Academy. WebRay interviewed Eclarin about his goals as a professional wrestler, but was interrupted by the mysterious Rapture #1. Eclarin reached out to shake Rapture #1’s hand. Rapture #1 did not accept the handshake, and viciously attacked the new student. As Eclarin was assisted back to the locker room, Rapture #1 stood in the ring waiting for his scheduled match, and was joined in the ring by his scheduled opponent, European Cruiserweight Champion Ricky The Activist. This bout was a non-title match, but both men displayed championship-worthy efforts inside the ring. High-impact aerial maneuvers, vicious submission moves, and hard-hitting strikes and kicks were utilized by both men. Rapture #1 finally got the pin after knocking out Ricky The Activist with a devastating release tiger suplex. This match was non-title, but surely the result puts Rapture #1 in line for a future match with the European Cruiserweight Championship on the line.

The final match of the evening saw TMD and Parker Greaves brutalize each other in a Tuxford Street Fight. If there was an object inside The Domain that was not bolted down, it got used as a weapon in this battle. Chairs, fire extinguishers, bicycles, and large industrial fans were among the weapons that TMD and Parker Greaves used to inflict pain on each other. Both men got battered and bruised in this encounter. Parker Greaves got the upper hand and was about to score the 1-2-3 on the Urban Empire Champion, but the pin was broken up by an interfering Maverick, who still harbors resentment towards Greaves for ending his reign as European Cruiserweight Champion late last year. This touched off a locker room emptying brawl that saw involvement from Black Pearl, Zander Jones, and aKILLeez. The bout was finally declared a no-contest after the referee got knocked out by Maverick.

The night was not over just yet though. After the dust from the brawl settled, Parker Greaves and Black Pearl were left standing in the ring. They revived the referee and addressed the crowd. For over six months, KnokX Pro officials have been reviewing applications for the Parker Greaves Scholarship. With the winner being awarded a full scholarship to the KnokX Pro Wrestling Academy on behalf of the Greaves family, KnokX Pro officials took their time to make sure the winner of the scholarship was absolutely deserving of the award. On this day, after weeks of deliberation, the scholarship was awarded to Leonard Rebula, who was the referee in all of this evening’s matches. Parker Greaves and Black Pearl stood in the ring to congratulate Leonard and introduce him to the crowd. Greaves then surprised Leonard by hitting him with a superkick. Helping Leonard to his feet, Greaves made sure to point out that there was no hatred or malice behind the superkick, just that Leonard needs to be prepared for anything and everything to happen at any moment in KnokX Pro. Welcome to KnokX Pro, Leonard Rebula!
