One time UFC welterweight contender Charlie Brenneman has been cut by the UFC following a loss to Kyle Noke at UFC 152. Brenneman gained fame in the UFC by defeating Rick Story at UFC On Versus IV, a fight that he took on one day’s notice. Following that career highlight, Brenneman lost three of his next four in the UFC, with his lone victory coming over Daniel Roberts. There is no word yet on when Brenneman will fight next and for what promotion, but Bellator and the World Series Of Fighting may be the best options.
