UFC Ultimate Fighter 9 runner up DaMarques Johnson has been released by the UFC after a third straight loss in the promotion. Johnson won four of ten in the promotion, with his biggest victory coming over Michael Guymon at UFC Fights For The Troops II. Johnson has not issued a statement on where he may compete in the future, but Strikeforce and Bellator are definitely options. Johnson’s last fight in the UFC came at UFC On Fuel TV V, losing to Gunnar Nelson by first round submission.
