UFC Welterweight Division and Middleweight Division fighter Jake Shields has been suspended by the Colorado Department Of Regulatory Agencies’ Boxing Commission for six months for using a prohibited substance at UFC 150. Due to Shields acknowledging that he used the banned substance, the athletic commission only suspended the fighter for six months. At UFC 150, Shields defeated Ed Herman by unanimous decision, the fight was his return to the middleweight division.
