Live up close and personal AWF pro-wrestling action comes to The Factory in Leumeah on Sunday 28 October for a 3 pm all ages wrestling super show. AWF is excited to be returning to the Macarthur region, and advises fans that a successful turn out will result in regular shows in the area for 2013.
Local Campbelltown standout Blakestone will compete in the main event of the afternoons wrestling against American competitor making his Australian debut, Tony “The” Mann.
Blakestone is one of the most physically dominant athletes in all of Australia, using his 115kg of hard muscle and athleticism to defeat competitors. In recent outings, Blakestone has been on a tear, taking on a more focussed and by the rules approach, and used this momentum to defeat top ranked Australian star TNT in the main event at Parramatta on 15 September.
Blakestone’s opponent Tony “The” Mann has an impressive list of credentials to his name, being a former wrestler for the USA based WWE developmental system Ohio Valley Wrestling, and being noted for winning bouts with the 450 splash from the top rope. Mann has been successful in the US independent circuit, and now looks to bring his skills to AWF in Australia. He urges fans to come to The Factory event, as he says he will show fans and Blakestone “Who the man truly is!”
In other hard hitting live action, 18 year veteran of the international wrestling scene and leader of the Detonation Crew TNT, will take on the head of Elite Wrestling, the returning to AWF action Jay Law. This will be a real struggle of skill, strength, and faction supremacy as both wrestlers need a win here to become a top contender for the AWF Title and to stand tall with their group’s team members.
Elsewhere on the card other exciting bouts will see AWF Tag Team Champion Dean Draven face Tama Williams of New Zealand, Jack Tasman will battle DJ Fusion, in tag team action Magnum Holmes and Spaceboy Dacey will face Mass Transit, there will be special ladies bout, plus there will be many more surprises and fun on the afternoon.
Be sure to book early and come and join all the festivities as part of AWF @ The Factory for what is set to be one of the best AWF events of the year!
