A pair of fighters have failed drug tests stemming from the UFC 149 event, those fighters are Matthew Riddle and Francisco Rivera. Riddle failed the test after testing positive for marijuana, Riddle defeated Chris Clements by submission at UFC 149. Rivera failed the test after testing positive for an over-the-counter stimulant, Rivera defeated Roland Delorme by TKO at the event. The Calgary Combative Sports Commission suspended both fighters for 90 days, starting from the date of the infraction (7/21), the fight results will not be overturned.
