Fight #1 – Bellator Featherweight Division Fight

Eric Albright (0-0-0) vs. Brett Martinez (4-0-0)

Referee: Keith Peterson

Round One

The round begins with Martinez attacking Albright with leg kicks, Martinez scores a takedown on Albright and they both quickly get back up. Albright then puts Martinez on his back with a takedown, Martinez uses the cage wall to get the fight standing. Albright then pops Martinez with some knee strikes before scoring another takedown, Martinez scrambles to get the fight standing. Albright then scores a trip takedown on Martinez, Albright attempts to gain back control on Martinez and that gets the fight standing. Albright then clocks Martinez with a plethora of knee strikes before gaining another takedown, Albright then advances to side control on Martinez as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Martinez attacking Albright with knee strike during a takedown attempt, Martinez then attempts a guillotine choke on Albright. Albright escapes and avoids a high kick from Martinez, Martinez then catches Albright with a two punch combination. Martinez tries for another guillotine and Albright scrambles to escape, Albright then scores a takedown on Martinez and he gets back control. Martinez scrambles to escape a rear naked choke attempt and the fight is standing, Martinez then locks in a guillotine choke on Albright during a scramble to force a tap out.

Fight Result: Brett Martinez def. Eric Albright by submission via guillotine choke (3:28, R2)

Fight #2 – Bellator Middleweight Division Fight

Duane Bastress (5-2-0) vs. Ariel Sepulveda (4-5-0)

Referee: Mario Yamasaki

Round One

The round begins with Sepulveda barely nailing an incoming Bastress with a high kick, Bastress quickly drags Sepulveda to the ground. Sepulveda scrambles to get the fight standing but is quickly taken back down by Bastress, Bastress quickly gains the half guard on Sepulveda. Bastress then advances to full mount on Sepulveda, Sepulveda then scrambles to get Bastress off of him. The fighters stand up after Sepulveda tries to get back control on Bastress, Sepulveda then nails Bastress with a few kicks to the rib cage and head. Bastress tries to get Sepulveda on the ground and Sepulveda blocks him, Bastress eventually gets Sepulveda down after a struggle. Bastress gets side control on Sepulveda and he attacks him with knee strikes as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Bastress attempting a spinning back fist on Sepulveda, Bastress then nails Sepulveda with a right before scoring a takedown. Bastress postures up before allowing Sepulveda to stand up, Sepulveda then hits a charging Bastress with a left hook and knee strike. Bastress then rocks Sepulveda with a pair of rights before scoring a takedown, Bastress then advances to the half guard on Sepulveda. Bastress quickly advances to side control on Sepulveda, Sepulveda uses his strength to get Bastress off of him. Bastress eventually finds himself back on top of Sepulveda after a failed guillotine choke, the referee stands up the fighters as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Bastress nailing Sepulveda with two kicks to the midsection, Sepulveda accidentally kicks Bastress low and the fight is halted. The fight resumes with Bastress nailing Sepulveda with a spinning back fist, Bastress then scores a takedown on Sepulveda. Bastress quickly advances to the half guard on Sepulveda, Bastress then goes for a guillotine choke on Sepulveda and Sepulveda breaks free after a short struggle. Sepulveda then nails a kneeling Bastress with a wild left to the face, Bastress eventually gets back on top of Sepulveda after a short scramble. Bastress then starts attacking Sepulveda with elbow strikes, the referee stands up the fighters after inactivity and Sepulveda stuff a Bastress takedown attempt. Sepulveda attacks Bastress with a few strikes as the round ends.

Fight Result: Duane Bastress def. Ariel Sepulveda by split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28)

Fight #3 – Bellator Lightweight Division Fight

Cosmo Alexander (3-1-0) vs. Mike Bannon (4-0-0)

Referee: Keith Peterson

Round One

The round begins with Bannon attacking Alexander with leg kicks, Alexander then catches Bannon with a push kick and jump knee. Bannon then puts Alexander on the ground for a short time, the fighters the battle for position along the cage wall. Bannon eventually scores a trip takedown on Alexander, Alexander stands up and he nails Bannon with a lot of short range strikes. Bannon tries to pull guard on Alexander and he fails, Alexander then starts attacking Bannon with leg kicks. Alexander then clobbers Bannon with a right after a failed takedown attempt as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Alexander catching Bannon with a left hook, Bannon then scores a takedown on Alexander and he gets the half guard. Alexander then scrambles to get the fight standing again, Alexander then catches Bannon with a front kick. Alexander then catches Bannon with a knee strike to the rib cage, Alexander then starts attacking Bannon with leg kicks. Alexander then clobbers Bannon with short range strikes during a takedown attempt as the round ends.

In between rounds, the fight doctor stopped the fight due to Bannon’s eye injury.

Fight Result: Cosmo Alexander def. Mike bannon by TKO via doctor stoppage (5:00, R2)

Fight #4 – Bellator Lightweight Division Fight

Emanuel Brooks (7-0-0) vs. Darrell Horcher (5-0-0)

Referee: Mario Yamasaki

Round One

The round begins with Horcher immediately dropping Brooks with a left and the referee immediately jumps in.

Fight Result: Darrell Horcher def. Emanuel Brooks by KO via punch (0:21, R1)

Fight #5 – Bellator Heavyweight Division Fight

Carmelo Marrero (14-5-0) vs. Lew Polley (11-4-0)

Referee: Keith Peterson

Round One

The round begins with Polley catching Marrero with a left hook, Marrero then charges at Polley while landing a few strikes. Polley then stuns Marrero with a looping left punch, the fighters then exchange a series of leg kicks and other strikes. Marrero then charges at Polley once more while landing a few strikes, Polley then catches Marrero with a left. Polley then rocks Marrero with a right during a kick attempt, Marrero then gets back control on Polley after a slip. Polley stands back up with Marrero holding onto him, Marrero then nails Polley with a quick right to the face. The fighters grapple on the cage wall as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Polley attacking Marrero with some leg kicks, Marrero responds by landing some kicks of his own. The fighters then have a wild exchange in the center of the cage, Polley then hits Marrero with a multiple punch combo. Marrero recovers to catch Polley with a short right, Marrero follows that up by catching Polley with a straight right. Polley responds by catching Marrero with a pair of rights, Polley then starts working the jab on Marrero as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Polley immediately nailing Marrero with a leg kick, Polley then pops Marrero with a short right. Polley follows that up by catching Marrero with a counter right, Polley then nails Marrero with a straight left. Polley follows that up by hitting Marrero with a pair of rights, Marrero then catches Polley with a wild right. Polley responds by popping Marrero with a left hook, Marrero charges at Polley with landing some open hand slaps. Marrero then barely catches Polley with a kick to the belly region, Polley swings wildly at Marrero as the round ends.

Fight Result: Lew Polley def. Carmelo Marrero by unanimous decision (29-28, 30-27, 29-28)
