Fight #6 - Bellator Lightweight Tournament Opening Round Fight
Rene Nazare (10-2-0) vs. Ricardo Tirloni (14-2-0)

Round One
The round begins with Tirloni nailing Nazare with a lead left hook, Nazare then puts Tirloni on the ground for a few seconds. Tirloni then grabs a hold of Nazare while landing some knee strikes, Tirloni then catches Nazare with a few lefts and a jump knee. The fighters then exchange a few knee strikes while on the cage wall, the fighters then battle for position along the cage wall. Nazare responds by catching Tirloni with a trio of rights, Tirloni continues to attack Nazare with a lot of knee strikes. Tirloni then catches Nazare with a left hook and more knee strikes, Nazare then clobbers Tirloni with a multi-punch combination as the round ends.
Round Two
The round begins with Nazare nailing Tirloni with a counter right, Nazare then rocks Tirloni with a left hook. Tirloni responds by rocking Nazare with a wild right, Tirloni then brings Nazare to the ground and he gets the half guard. Tirloni locks in the d’arce choke and Nazare is forced to tap out.

Fight #7 - Bellator Lightweight Tournament Opening Round Fight
Marcin Held (13-2-0) vs. Murad Machaev (9-0-0)

Round One
The round begins with Held nailing Machaev with a jump kick to the face, Held then connects with multiple strikes on Machaev. Held then starts attacking Machaev with some leg kicks, Held then scores a takedown on Machaev and he gets leg control. Machaev wall walks to get the fight standing again and he eats a knee strike from Held, Machaev then hits Held with a left. Held cracks Machaev with a spinning back fist before grappling with him, Held then completes a takedown on Machaev as the round ends.
Round Two
The round begins with Held attacking Machaev with leg kicks, Machaev then rocks an incoming Held with a wild left. Held attacks Machaev with a few knee strikes while looking for the takedown, Machaev then catches Held with a few lefts. Held slips during a takedown and Machaev makes him pay with a right, Machaev then pops Held with a left to the midsection. Held then dives for a leg lock and Machaev easily avoids it, Machaev then cracks Held with a solid left to the chin. Machaev follows that up by hitting Held with a counter right as the round ends.
Round Three
The round begins with Machaev cracking Held with a wild right, Held then starts attacking Machaev with some leg kicks. Machaev then drops Held with a right after blocking a leg kick, Held responds by cracking Machaev with a few rights. Held then starts attacking Machaev with a plethora of jabs, Machaev recovers to nail Held with some lefts. Machaev then charges at Held while throwing a bunch of strikes, Held responds by cracking Machaev with a left as the round ends.
Fight Result: Marcin Held def. Murad Machaev by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)
Fight #8 - Bellator Lightweight Tournament Opening Round Fight
Dave Jansen (17-2-0) vs. Magomed Saadulaev (14-1-0)

Round One
The round begins with Saadulaev attempting a variety of kicks on Jansen, Saadulaev then scores a takedown on Jansen and he gets side control. Jansen scrambles and finds himself on top of Saadulaev, Saadulaev quickly scrambles as well and he gets back control on Jansen. The fighters scramble after Jansen gets back up and Saadulaev gets back control on him when the scramble ended, Saadulaev starts to attack Jansen with short range strikes. Saadulaev goes for a submission and Jansen escapes with full mount on Saadulaev, the fighters scramble to their feet and Saadulaev pops Jansen with some rights. Saadulaev secures a takedown on Jansen as the round ends.
Round Two
The round begins with Jansen trying to nail Saadulaev with kicks, Jansen then cracks Saadulaev with some knee strikes after a wild exchange. Saadulaev then nails Jansen with a few front kicks, Saadulaev then catches Jansen with a left after landing some knee strikes. Saadulaev then cracks Jansen with a left and then an uppercut, Saadulaev then cracks Jansen with an overhand left. Jansen then scores a takedown on Saadulaev and he gets half guard, Jansen attempts an arm triangle choke on Saadulaev and eventually lets it go. Jansen postures up and starts attacking Saadulaev with a plethora of strikes as the round ends.
Round Three
The round begins with Jansen nailing Saadulaev with knee strikes, Saadulaev then goes for a takedown and Jansen locks him in a guillotine choke to force a tap out.

Main Event - Bellator Lightweight Tournament Opening Round Fight
Rich Clementi (44-21-1) vs. Alexander Sarnavskiy (20-0-0)

Round One
The round begins with Sarnavskiy quickly attacking Clementi with leg kicks, Sarnavskiy then drills Clementi with a spinning back kick and spinning back fist. Clementi then drags Sarnavskiy to the ground and he gets back control, Sarnavskiy stands up with Clementi still on his back. Clementi tries to weaken Sarnavskiy with short range strikes, Clementi attempts to lock in the rear naked choke on Sarnavskiy as the round ends.
Round Two
The round begins with Clementi attacking Sarnavskiy with leg kicks, Sarnavskiy then pops Clementi with a counter left. Clementi then scores a takedown on Sarnavskiy and he gets leg control, Clementi then advances to back control on Sarnavskiy. Clementi then starts weakening Sarnavskiy with short range strikes, Sarnavskiy scrambles and he finds himself on top of Clementi. Sarnavskiy starts landing a lot of strikes on Clementi as he postured up, the referee stands up the fighters after inactivity and Sarnavskiy nails Clementi with a head kick as the round ends.
Round Three
The round begins with Sarnavskiy nailing Clementi with a multi-punch combination, Sarnavskiy then drops Clementi with a right. Clementi rolls for a leg lock on Sarnavskiy and he fails, Sarnavskiy continues to attack Clementi with some ground and pound. Clementi attempts to hold Sarnavskiy in the rubber guard, the referee stands up the fighters after inactivity and Clementi pulls guard on Sarnavskiy. Sarnavskiy postures up on Clementi and he nails him with a few strikes, the fighters stand back up and Sarnavskiy nails Clementi with a right. Clementi pulls guard on Sarnavskiy and then scrambles to get on top of him, Sarnavskiy rolls for a triangle on Clementi as the round ends.
