Veteran light heavyweight/middleweight fighter Luiz Cane has been cut by the Ultimate Fighting Championships following a loss to Chris Camozzi at UFC 153. During his near five year run in the UFC, Cane fought the likes of Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou, James Irvin and Stanislav Nedkov. There is no word on where Cane will fight next, but his manager stated that the UFC would resign him if his got some victories outside of the promotion.
