With Stephen Thompson out of UFC 154 due to injury, Matthew Riddle has agreed to step in to face Besam Yousef at the event. Riddle last competed at UFC 149 against Chris Clements, the fight was changed to a no contest for Riddle after a failed drug test. Yousef is currently winless in UFC competition, suffering a defeat to Simeon Thoresen at UFC On Fuel TV II. UFC 154 takes place on November 17th at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada with Georges St. Pierre and Carlos Condit headlining.
