A pair of the best female fighters competing are set to fight at Bellator 83 as Zoila Gurgel does battle with Jessica Eye. Gurgel returned to action after a year-plus layoff at Bellator 78, where she defeated Casey Noland by unanimous decision. Eye is currently undefeated in Bellator competition, having defeated both Casey Noland and Anita Rodriguez. Bellator 83 takes place on December 7th at Caesars Atlantic City in Atlantic City, New Jersey with the season eight lightweight tournament finals headlining.
