An injury has forced Johnny Eduardo out of a planned UFC fight against Yuri Alcantara this January, replacing him will be George Roop. Roop will enter the fight riding a two fight losing streak, with those losses coming to Cub Swanson and Hatsu Hioki. Alcantara will be looking to rebound from his first UFC defeat, which came at the hands of Hacran Dias at UFC 147. The yet unnamed UFC event takes place this January in Brazil with a headliner that has yet to be announced.
