The now retired Stephan Bonnar and heavyweight Dave Herman have both failed their UFC 153 drug tests, the tests where done by a firm hired by the UFC. The UFC has yet to formally announce any discipline for either fighter, but Bonnar has since retired. At UFC 153, Bonnar lost in the headliner to UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva and Dave Herman was submitted by Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. Bonnar failed his drug test for an anabolic steroid called Drastanolone, while Herman tested positive for marijuana metabolites.
