Fight #7 - Bellator Middleweight Division Fight

Darryl Cobb (10-5-0) vs. Brett Cooper (16-7-0)

Referee: James Warring

Round One

The round begins with both fighters immediately testing the other with jabs, Cooper then scores a takedown on Cobb and he gets the half guard. Cooper advances to side control on Cobb after landing a few strikes, Cobb scrambles to get the fight standing. Cooper then pops Cobb with a quick left from out of nowhere, Cooper scores another takedown on Cobb and he gets the open guard. Cooper then starts attacking Cobb with some ground and pound, Cooper then transitions to back control on Cobb as he stood up. Cooper then immediately puts Cobb back on the ground, Cooper resumes his ground and pound attack on Cobb. Cooper eventually allows the fight to be stood back up, Cooper quickly catches Cobb with a left before scoring another takedown. Cooper again attacks Cobb with ground and pound while advancing to side control, Cooper postures up on Cobb as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Cooper swinging wildly at Cobb, Cobb recovers to attack Cooper with some leg kicks. Cobb follows that up by nailing Cooper with a three punch combination, Cooper then scores a takedown on Cobb and he gets the half guard. Cobb quickly forces Cooper back into the full guard, Cooper then turns up the pressure on Cobb with a lot of ground and pound. Cobb tries to attack Cooper from his back, but Cooper continues to land the strikes as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Cobb catching Cooper with a series of jabs, Cooper then scores a takedown on Cobb following short struggle. Cooper then resumes his ground and pound attack on Cobb, Cobb tries again to attack from his back. Cooper is just relentless with his ground and pound attack on Cobb, Cooper then gains back control on Cobb after a short scramble. Cobb scrambles to get the fight standing one more time, Cobb and Cooper have a wild exchange near the cage wall. Cooper lands one more takedown on Cobb as the round ends.

Fight Result: Brett Cooper def. Darryl Cobb by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Fight #8 - Bellator Featherweight Tournament Semi-Final Fight

Wagnney Fabiano (15-3-0) vs. Rad Martinez (13-2-0)

Referee: Troy Waugh

Round One

The round begins with Martinez attacking Fabiano with leg kicks, Martinez then catches Fabiano with a short left. Martinez follows that up by nailing Fabiano with a counter right, Fabiano recovers to score a takedown on Martinez. Martinez gets the fight standing after a quick scramble, the fighters grapple near the cage wall while exchanging knee strikes. Martinez separates from Fabiano before nailing him with a punching combination, Fabiano responds by hitting Martinez with a hook to the midsection. Martinez continues to attack Fabiano with punches to the stomach region, Fabiano then hits Martinez with a counter left as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Martinez attacking Fabiano with leg kicks, Martinez continues to attack Fabiano with a bunch of lefts. Martinez then catches Fabiano with a punching combination, Martinez then attacks Fabiano with knee strikes as they battle along the cage wall. Martinez then makes Fabiano stumble with a well-placed left to the temple, Fabiano responds by hitting Martinez with a two punch combination. Martinez then hits Fabiano with a two punch combination, Fabiano barely catching Martinez with a wide left. Fabiano follows that up by hitting Martinez with a right to the midsection and then a counter right, Fabiano follows it up with a left as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Martinez continuing to attack Fabiano with punching combinations, Fabiano misses badly with a flying knee strike attempt. Fabiano catches Martinez with a few knee strikes while on the cage wall, Fabiano then hits Martinez with a counter left. Martinez responds by attacking Fabiano with leg kicks, Fabiano responds to that by catching Martinez with a counter right. Fabiano then rocks Martinez for a short time with an uppercut, Martinez then attacsk Fabiano with knee strikes while forcing him up against the cage wall. Fabiano then catches a ducking Martinez with an uppercut, Fabiano follows that up by nailing Martinez with a left. Martinez then comes at Fabiano while throwing some wild strikes, Martinez then catches fabiano with a left that rocks him as the round ends.

Fight Result: Rad Martinez def. Wagnney Fabiano by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27)

Fight #9 - Bellator Heavyweight Tournament Semi-Final Fight

Vinicius Queiroz (6-2-0) vs. Alexander Volkov (17-3-0)

Round One

The round begins with Queiroz popping Volkov with a quick right, Volkov then hits Queiroz with a three punch combo that is followed by a head kick. Queiroz then scores a takedown on Volkov and he gets the open guard, the referee stands up the fighters after inactivity and Queiroz catches Volkov with a two punch combination. Queiroz then stops Volkov’s momentum with a counter right, Volkov then rocks an incoming Queiroz with a right. Queiroz then scores another takedown on Volkov and he gets the closed guard, Queiroz then starts attacking Volkov with some ground and pound as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with both fighters catching each other with jabs, Volkov then nails Queiroz with a right uppercut. Volkov then catches Queiroz with a kick during a takedown attempt, Volkov follows that up by hitting Queiroz with a kick to the midsection. Volkov then catches Queiroz with a straight right to the face, Volkov then catches Queiroz with a three punch combination. Volkov then rocks Queiroz with a right before dropping him with another strike, Volkov then allows the fight to be stood back up. Queiroz then scores a takedown on Volkov and he gets the closed guard, the referee stands up the fighters after inactivity and the fighters have a wild exchange near the cage wall. Volkov then clobbers Queiroz with a plethora of rights until the referee jumps in.

Main Event - Bellator Bantamweight Division Fight

Owen Evinger (7-3-0) vs. Joe Warren (7-3-0)

Round One

The round begins with Evinger cracking Warren with a right during a takedown attempt, Warren then scores a takedown on Evinger and he gets the open guard. Warren starts to attack Evinger with some short range strikes, Warren picks up Evinger to get the fight standing. Warren then scores another takedown on Evinger and he quickly gets full mount, Evinger scrambles and then escapes an arm bar attempt from Warren. Evinger finds himself with full mount on Warren after the submission escape, Warren then stands up with Evinger holding onto him. Warren then scores another takedown on Evinger and he gets the half guard, Warren attacks Evinger with a plethora of strikes as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with both fighters throwing a variety of kicks at each other, Warren then scores a takedown on Evinger and he gets side control. Warren locks Evinger in an arm triangle choke and eventually releases it after a struggle, Warren then moves to full mount on Evinger. Warren then starts attacking Evinger with some ground and pound, Evinger eventually forces Warren into the half guard. Warren starts adding knee strikes to his attack on Evinger as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Warren attacking Evinger with leg kicks, Evinger then nails Warren with a knee strike after avoiding a spinning back fist. Warren then drags Evinger to the ground and he gets the half guard, Warren then gets back control on Evinger following a brief scramble. Warren then transitions to the half guard on Evinger after landing a few strikes, Warren then gains the full mount on Evinger. Warren gets put back into the half guard by Evinger as he lands a few strikes, Warren then advances to side control on Evinger. Evinger eventually forces Warren back into the half guard, Warren attacks Evinger with some ground and pound as the round ends.
