Fight #4 - UFC Bantamweight Division Fight

Jeff Hougland (10-5-0) vs. Takeya Mizugaki (15-7-2)

Referee: Steve Perceval

Round One

The round begins with Mizugaki immediatelyu getting caught with a counter punch from Hougland, Hougland follows that up by hitting Mizugaki with multiple knee strikes. Mizugaki responds by popping Hougland with a left, Mizugaki then chases Hougland around the cage while throwing strikes. Mizugaki then scores a takedown on Hougland and he gets the open guard, Mizugaki then starts attacking Hougland with some ground and pound. Hougland attempts to put some submissions on Mizugaki and he fails, Mizugaki continues to attack Hougland with ground and pound as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Mizugaki catching Hougland with a two punch combination, v follows that up by hitting Hougland with a knee strike and elbow strike. Mizugaki then scores atakedown on Hougland and he gets the half guard, Hougland quickly puts Mizugaki in the full guard. Mizugaki resumes his ground and pound attack on Hougland, Mizugaki then gains back control on Hougland after a short scramble. Hougland then forces Mizugaki back into the full guard a short time later, Mizugaki returns to his ground and pound attack. The referee stands up the fighters after inactivity and Mizugaki nails Hougland with a left hook and he goes down, Mizugaki attacks Hougland on the ground again as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Mizugaki immediately attacking Hougland with leg kicks, Mizugaki then scores a takedown on Hougland after dazing him with strikes. Mizugaki resumes his ground and pound attack on Hougland, Mizugaki eventually allows the fight to be stood back up. Mizugaki then puts Hougland back on the ground one more time, Mizugaki lets loose on the strikes as he attacks Hougland. The referee stands up the fighters after inactivity and Mizugaki gets back on top of Hougland after he failed to score a takedown, Mizugaki turns up the attack on the ground and pound as the round ends.

Fight Result: Takeya Mizugaki def. Jeff Hougland by unanimous decision (30-25, 30-27, 30-27)

Fight #5 - UFC Lightweight Division Fight

Tiequan Zhang (18-3-0) vs. Jon Tuck (6-0-0)

Referee: Marc Goddard

Round One

The round begins with Tuck barely catching Zhang with a front kick, Tuck then catches Zhang with a flying knee strike. Zhang then scores a takedown on Tuck and he gets the open guard, Tuck then rolls for an arm bar on Zhang and he gets caught in an inverted triangle choke. Tuck escapes and he gains back control on Zhang, Tuck then transitions to full mount on Zhang and then he goes to side control. Tuck then gains back control again on Zhang, the fighters get back up after Tuck fails to secure a rear naked choke. Tuck barely cracks Zhang with a head kick as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Zhang attacking Tuck with a few leg kicks, Zhang then rocks Tuck with a big left from out of nowhere. Tuck responds by hitting Zhang with a right that is followed by a flying knee strike, Zhang then scores a takedown on Tuck. Tuck scrambles and he winds up on top of Zhang in the half guard, Tuck then transitions to the full mount on Zhang. Tuck starts to attack Zhang with some ground and pound, Tuck then transitions to back control on Zhang. Tuck continuously goes for the rear naked choke on Zhang as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Zhang attacking Tuck with a multiple punch combination, Zhang then chases Tuck around the octagon while throwing strikes. Zhang then rocks Tuck with a three punch combination, Tuck responds by nailing Zhang with a double knee strike. Zhang then nails Tuck with a counter left that dazes him, Zhang follows that up by hitting Tuck with a straight left. Zhang then pounces on Tuck by catching him with a counter right, Tuck tries to slow Zhang down with a few leg kicks. Zhang then attacks Tuck with leg kicks and a punching combination, Tuck then dances around Zhang while landing some jabs. Zhang tries to bring Tuck to the ground as the round ends.

Fight Result: Jon Tuck def. Tiequan Zhang by unanimous decision (29-28, 30-27, 29-28)

Fight #6 - UFC Lightweight Division Fight

Mac Danzig (22-9-1) vs. Takanori Gomi (33-8-0-1NC)

Referee: Steve Perceval

Round One

The round begins with Danzig attacking Gomi with a few leg kicks, Danzig then starts attacking Gomi with a variety of kicks. Danzig then catches Gomi with a knee strike to the midsection, Danzig then grabs a hold of Gomi and he slaughters him with knee strikes. Gomi then scores a takedown on v and he gets the open guard, Danzig eventually finds a way to get the fight standing. Gomi then starts attacking Danzig with a series of leg kicks, Danzig then catches Gomi with a few lefts. Danzig then catches Gomi with a left hook, Danzig then scores a takedown on Gomi and he attacks him with ground and pound as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Danzig eating a counter jab from Gomi, Gomi then barely catches Danzig with a left hook. Danzig then grabs a hold of Gomi to hit him with knee strikes, Gomi recovers to hit Danzig with a right to the rib cage. Gomi then pops Danzig with a leg kick/punch combination, Danzig tries to keep Gomi at bay by hitting him with a push kick. Danzig follows that up by cracking Gomi with a left to the belly, Gomi continue to catch Danzig with lefts to the face, Danzig then scores a takedown on Gomi and he gets the half guard. Danzig then rolls for a guillotine choke on Gomi as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Gomi rocking Danzig with a multiple punch combination, Gomi then plants himself on top of Danzig. Gomi then starts peppering Danzig with some light strikes, Danzig then rolls for a leg lock on Gomi and it fails. Gomi then advances to the half guard on Danzig after escaping the submission, Danzig uses the wall walk to get the fight standing. Gomi fails at a takedown attempt on Danzig and he nearly gave up his back, Gomi then starts peppering Danzig with jabs. Danzig responds by hitting Gomi with a knee strike and a right, Danzig then cracks Gomi with several uppercuts near the cage wall. Gomi then pops Danzig with a three punch combination as the round ends.

Fight Result: Takanori Gomi def. Mac Danzig by split decision (29-28, 28-29, 28-29)

Fight #7 - UFC Welterweight Division Fight

Paulo Thiago (14-4-0) vs. Dong Hyun Kim (15-2-1-1NC)

Referee: Marc Goddard

Round One

The Round begins with Kim working hard to put Thiago on the ground and he succeeds, Kim then advances to back control on Thiago. Kim then starts attacking Thiago with some ground and pound, Thiago struggles to shake Kim from his back. Kim continues to attack Thiago with ground and pound, Kim continuously attempts to lock in the rear naked choke on Thiago as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Thiago attacking Kim with some leg kicks, Thiago then attacks Kim with knee strikes during a takedown attempt. Kim then scores a takedown on Thiago and nearly gets caught in the kimura, Kim then gets back control on Thiago. Kim then starts to attack Thiago with a plethora of knee strikes, Thiago uses a scramble to get the fight standing again. Kim quickly regains control and he locks Thiago in the d’arce choke as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Thiago attacking Kim with a few kicks, Kim then attempts a wild spinning back fist on Thiago. Kim then drags Thiago to the ground while holding onto his back, Kim then starts attacking Thiago with some ground and pound. Thiago stands up with Kim on his backs a few times to try and shake him off, Kim turns up the ground and pound attack on Thiago. Kim even starts attacking Thiago with axe handle strikes and other punches as the round ends.

Fight Result: Dong Hyun Kim def. Paulo Thiago by unanimous decision (30-26, 30-27, 30-27)

Fight #8 - UFC Light Heavyweight Division Fight

Thiago Silva (14-3-0-1NC) vs. Stanislav Nedkov (12-0-0)

Referee: Steve Perceval

Round One

The round begins with Nedkov rushing at Silva while throwing strikes, Silva then catches Nedkov with a few strikes as they battle along the cage wall. Silva slips during a takedown attempt and both fighters swing like crazy when he stood back up, Silva then cracks Nedkov with a knee strike. Silva then starts attacking Nedkov with some leg kicks, Nedkov then attacks Silva with knee strikes as he holds him against the cage wall. Silva then catches Nedkov with a knee strike to the chest area, the fighters then battle for position along the cage wall as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Silva accidentally kicking Nedkov in the testicular region, the fight resumes with Nedkov popping Silva with a left. Silva then attacks Nedkov with knee strikes as they grapple on the cage wall, the referee separates the fighters after inactivity and they battle along the cage wall. Silva then fakes a kick before catching Nedkov with a right, Silva then nails an incoming Nedkov with a two punch combination. Silva follows that up by catching Nedkov with a kick to the midsection, Silva follows that up by hitiing Nedkov with leg kicks. Nedkov then drops Silva with an overhand right, Nedkov then pounces on Silva as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Silva attacking Nedkov with leg kicks, Silva then cracks with a wild looking punching combination. Silva then scores a takedown on Nedkov and he quickly gains full mount, Silva then starts attacking Nedkov with some ground and pound. Silva locks in an arm triangle choke on Nedkov and the tap out follows.

Fight Result: Thiago Silva def. Stanislav Nedkov by submission via arm triangle choke (3:23, R3)

Main Event - UFC Middleweight Division Fight

Rich Franklin (29-6-0-1NC) vs. Cung Le (8-2-0)

Referee: Marc Goddard

Round One

The round begins with Franklin catching Le with a counter right, Franklin then starts to attack Le with some leg kicks. Franklin then quickly weaves in and pops Le with a left, Franklin follows that up by hitting Le with a punching combination. Le then pops Franklin with a counter right from out of nowhere and Franklin goes out cold.

Fight Result: Cung Le def. Rich Franklin by KO via punch (2:17, R1)
