Bellator Light Heavyweight Champion Christian M’Pumbu is set to make his first title defense at Bellator 84, defending the gold against Attila Vegh. This will be the first title defense for M’Pumbu, who defeated Richard Hale in a tournament final at Bellator 45 to win the title. Vegh earned the title shot after winning the Bellator “Summer Series†Light Heavyweight Tournament, defeating UFC veteran Travis Wiuff in the finals. Bellator 84 takes place on December 14th at The Venue At The Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Indiana with the aforementioned fighters headlining.
