The November 17 edition of IZW TV on GFL promises to deliver another night of exciting in ring action. After last week’s episode, new rivalries are brewing in the Impact Arena.
Impact Division Champion Jermaine Johnson defended his title against “Lights Out” Jordan Jacobs in an Impact Rules Match, but that wasn’t the story. During the bout, The Convict came down to the ring and slammed both men through a pair of tables, crushing their bodies in the process. After the carnage, The Convict placed Johnson on Jacobs so that he was able to retain his title but this only further cemented how deranged The Convict is. What is he after? Does he want a title shot with Johnson? Johnson is a battle-tested wrestler that can overcome almost any physical punishment and he will be in the Impact Arena on Saturday to shed some light on the future of his title, The Convict and any other issue that is on his mind.
Last week, the leader of Impact Elite, Madam Commissioner Erica forced Venus to crown her Queen of IZW a task that Venus was none too happy about complying with the request with but did so anyway. How will this the Golden Trinity (“The Bronze Bull” Aaron Neil, “The Brass Bull” Bobby Starr and Venus) as it relates to Impact Elite? Will Neil take up for his Golden Goddess or will he side with Erica?
But Neil might have more on his mind as he is in the main event of IZW’s final iPPV of the year, Chaotic Christmas on December 22 in a World Heavyweight Match with Champion Double D by invoking the automatic rematch clause in his contract. But Neil’s feud with Johnny Z is far from over. Even after their epic Steel Cage Match at Halloween Hangover, these two former best friends still have a score to settle and need closure that can only come in a ring. Even as Chaotic Christmas looms in the not too distant future, you can bet there will be pain, payback and retribution before then and now with Johnny Z and Neil.
