Fight #7 - Bellator Middleweight Division Fight

Jonas Billstein (10-2-0) vs. Perry Filkins (6-1-0)

Round One

The round begins with Filkins catching Billstein with a quick left, Filkins then starts attacking Billstein with leg kicks. Billstein then jumps in and pops Filkins with a right, Billstein then forces Filkins up against the cage wall while landing knee strikes. The fighters are battling for position along the cage wall, Filkins then throws a few kicks at an incoming Billstein. Billstein then catches Filkins with a lead left hook, Filkins responds by nailing Billstein with a left to the face. Filkins then charges at Billstein while landing a few blows, Filkins then rocks Billstein with a three punch combination. Billstein recovers to nail Filkins with a pair of knee strikes, Billstein then botches a takedown attempt as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with both fighters attacking the other with jabs, Filkins then hits Billstein with a few punching combinations. Billstein then catches Filkins with a short right to the midsection, Billstein then tries to attack Filkins with a multiple punch combination. Billstein accidentally pokes Filkins in the eye and the fight is halted, the fight resumes with Billstein hitting Filkins with a left. Filkins then accidentally pokes Billstein in the eye and the fight is halted, the fight resumes with Billstein catching Filkins with a left. Billstein then starts attacking Filkins with some leg kicks, Billstein then starts hitting Filkins with a leg kick/punch combination. The fighters then exchange a few knee strikes while in the clinch, Filkins then pops Billstein with a two punch combination. Billstein then scores a takedown on Filkins as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Filkins catching Billstein with a few punching combinations, Billstein then hits Filkins with a few knee strikes as they battle along the cage wall. Filkins responds by nailing some knee strikes of his own, Filkins accidentally knee strikes Billstein low and the fight is halted. The fight resumes with Filkins hitting Billstein with a counter left hook, Billstein then nails Filkins with a snap kick to the face. Filkins responds by cracking Billstein with a left hook to the chin, Filkins follows that up by catching with a right. Billstein then goes for a takedown and Filkins winds up on top of him, Filkins then transitions to have guard on Billstein. The fighters eventually get back up and Billstein holds Filkins against the cage wall, Filkins then lands a punching combo on Billstein. Filkins also starts nailing Billstein with some leg kicks, Filkins then clobbers a ducking Billstein with a knee strike, Filkins winds up getting full mount on Billstein as he messed up a takedown. Filkins then starts nailing Billstein with ground and pound as the round ends.

Fight Result: Perry Filkins def. Jonas Billstein by unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28)

Fight #8 - Bellator Featherweight Division Fight

Dustin Neace (27-19-1) vs. Marlon Sandro (22-4-0)

Round One

The round begins with Neace barely catching Sandro with a kick to the midsection, Sandro then scores a takedown on Neace and he nearly got caught in a guillotine choke. Sandro then transitions to the half guard on Neace, Sandro then gains back control on Neace after escaping a heel hook attempt. Sandro then locks in a rear naked choke on Neace and the fighter goes out cold.

Fight Result: Marlon Sandro def. Dustin Neace by submission via rear naked choke (2:05, R1)

Fight #9 - Bellator Lightweight Tournament Semi-Final Fight

Dave Jansen (18-2-0) vs. Ricardo Tirloni (15-2-0)

Round One

The round begins with Tirloni barely nailing Jansen with a jump knee, Jansen then rocks Tirloni with a two punch combination. The fighters then exchange a few knee strikes, Tirloni then catches Jansen with a counter left to the face. Tirloni follows that up by nailing Jansen with a head kick, Tirloni then nails Jansen with a counter right. Tirloni then starts to attack Jansen with a bunch of leg kicks, Jansen then catches Tirloni with a straight right. Tirloni responds by nailing Jansen with a two punch combination, Tirloni then clobbers Jansen with a pair of rights. Jansen tries to attack Tirloni with a variety of kicks, Jansen then scores a quick takedown on Tirloni and then he gets standing back control. Janse then scores another brief takedown on Tirloni as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Jansen immediately attacking Tirloni with leg kicks, Tirloni then nails an incoming Jansen with a left. Tirloni then crushes Jansen with a hard right, Tirloni then starts nailing Jansen with leg kicks of his own that is followed by a punching combination. Jansen then catches a ducking Tirloni with a right uppercut, Jansen then catches Tirloni with a counter right. Tirloni responds by hitting Jansen with a right of his own, Jansen continues to work over Tirloni with the jab. Jansen then goes for a takedown on Tirloni and nearly got caught in a choke, Tirloni then pops Jansen with a counter right. The fighters swing wildly at each other as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Jansen immediately attacking Tirloni with a high kick, Tirloni then catches Jansen with a left to the rib cage. The fighters then crack each other with knee strikes while in the clinch, Tirloni then nails Jansen with an uppercut. Jansen then clobbers Tirloni with a counter left hook, Tirloni then walks up to Jansen and nails him with a left. Tirloni then starts to effectively use his jab on Jansen, Tirloni then starts to attack Jansen with some leg kicks. Tirloni then pops Jansen with a two punch combination to the rib cage, Tirloni then nails Jansen with a left. Tirloni then grabs a hold of Jansen before landing a knee strike, Tirloni then rocks Jansen with a wild right. Tirloni then goes for a takedown and nearly gets caught with a guillotine choke, Jansen then scores a brief takedown on Tirloni as the round ends.

Fight Result: Dave Jansen def. Ricardo Tirloni by split decision (29-28, 28-29, 28-29)

Main Event - Bellator Lightweight Tournament Semi-Final Fight

Rich Clementi (45-21-1) vs. Marcin Held (14-2-0)

Referee: Kevin MacDonald

Round One

The round begins with Held attacking Clementi with some leg kicks, Held then rolls for a leg lock on Clementi and they both struggle on the ground. Clementi starts to go for some leg locks of his own on Held, Clementi then starts popping held with a few strikes. Held then rolls for a knee bar on Clementi and he fails, Held eventually finds himself in the half guard of Clementi after a scramble as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with the fighters just swinging wildly at each other, Clementi then scores a takedown on Held and he gets the half guard. Clementi attacks Held with some ground and pound, Held then rolls for a toe hold on Clementi and the tap out follows.
