Fight #8 - UFC Featherweight Division Fight

Mark Hominick (20-11-0) vs. Pablo Garza (12-3-0)

Round One

The round begins with Garza nailing Hominick with a few punches to the midsection, Garza then starts attacking Hominick with leg kicks. Hominick then clobbers Garza with a striking combination, Garza then catches Hominick with a kick to the hips. Hominick then rocks Garza with a two punch combination, Hominick then scores a takedown on Garza. Garza tries to roll for an arm bar on Hominick and t=he gets slammed for his efforts, Garza shakes Hominick off of him to get the fight standing. Hominick then drops Garza with a left hook to the rib cage, Hominick then crushes Garza with a knee strike to the rib cage. Garza gets up quickly and pummels Hominick with a straight left, Garza lands a combination on Hominick as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Garza attempting a jump spin kick on Hominick, Hominick responds by drilling Garza with a left hook. Garza then scores a takedown on Hominick and he gets the closed guard, Garza then starts nailing Hominick with ground and pound. Garza starts turning up the pressure by crushing Hominick with elbow strikes, Garza postures up on Hominick and decks him with strikes. Hominick tries to roll for an omaplata on Garza and he does not succeed, Garza returns to attacking Hominick with elbow strikes as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Hominick nailing a ducking Garza with a left, Garza responds by nailing Hominick with leg kicks. Hominick recovers by cracking Garza with a pair of lefts, Garza scores a takedown on Hominick and he gets the closed guard. Garza then starts attacking Hominick with some ground and pound, Garza briefly postures up on Hominick. Hominick attempts to attack Garza while on his back, Hominick scrambles to get the fight standing and Garza nails him with a knee strike. Garza quickly puts Hominick back on the ground and he gets the half guard, Garza postures up to attack Hominick with ground and pound as the round ends.

Fight Result: Pablo Garza def. Mark Hominick by unanimous decision (29-27, 30-26, 29-28)

Fight #9 - UFC Lightweight Division Fight

Mark Bocek (11-4-0) vs. Rafael Dos Anjos (17-6-0)

Referee: Yves Lavigne

Round One

The round begins with Dos Anjos catching Bocek with an uppercut, Bocek responds by nailing Dos Anjos with a knee strike. Dos Anjos is quick to pop Bocek with a straight left, Dos Anjos follows that up by nailing Bocek with a kick to the upper body. The fighters battle for position along the cage wall while exchanging knee strikes, Dos Anjos catches Bocek with a jumping uppercut. Bocek then grabs a hold of Dos Anjos and nails him with knee strikes, Dos Anjos then attacks Bocek with leg kicks. Bocek holds Dos Anjos up against the cage wall while eating strikes as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Dos Anjos immediately hitting Bocek with leg kicks, Bocek accidentally nails Dos Anjos low and the fight is halted. The fight resumes with Dos Anjos catching Bocek with an uppercut, Dos Anjos stuffs a takedown from Bocek before nailing him with a left. Dos Anjos then scores a takedown on Bocek and he gets the North/South position, Bocek eventually powers himself back to his feet before Dos Anjos drags him back down. Bocek wall walks to get the fight standing again, Bocek then attacks Dos Anjos with a plethora of leg kicks. Dos Anjos then scores a takedown on Bocek and he gets back control, Dos Anjos then starts attacking Bocek with ground and pound. Bocek eventually scrambles back to his feet before Dos Anjos gets him down again, Bocek stands up and eats an elbow strike from Dos Anjos as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Dos Anjos attempting a superman punch on Bocek, Dos Anjos then barely nails Bocek with an uppercut. The fighters then battle for position along the cage wall, Dos Anjos then scores a takedown on Bocek and he gets North/South position. Bocek scrambles after a short time to get the fight standing, Dos Anjos catches a very tired Bocek with a jumping knee strike. Bocek recovers to nail Dos Anjos with a right, Bocek then forces Dos Anjos up against the cage wall while eating a few strikes. The referee separates the fighters after inactivity and Bocek trips Dos Anjos with a leg kick, Dos Anjos responds by hitting Bocek with an ugly spinning back kick as the round ends.

Fight Result: Rafael Dos Anjos def. Mark Bocek by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Fight #10 - UFC Middleweight Division Fight

Tom Lawlor (8-4-0-1NC) vs. Francis Carmont (19-7-0)

Referee: Phillippe Chartier

Round One

The round begins with Lawlor quickly grabbing a hold of Carmont, the fighters then trade knee strikes while on the cage wall. The fighters battle for position along the cage wall, the referee separates the fighters after inactivity and Carmont lands a body kick on Lawlor. Lawlor then goes for a takedown on Carmont and nearly gets caught in a kimura, Lawlor then chases Carmont before landing an uppercut. Carmont then starts to attack Lawlor with a variety of kicks, Carmont goes for a takedown and gets locked in a guillotine choke as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Carmont attacking Lawlor with some leg kicks, Lawlor barely catches Carmont with a few punches. Carmont then cracks Lawlor with a knee strike during a takedown attempt, Lawlor recovers to hit Carmont with a counter right. The fighters are then battling for position along the cage wall, Lawlor then scores a takedown on Carmont and they both quickly get back up. Lawlor quickly puts Carmont back on the ground and he gets side control, Lawlor catches Carmont in another guillotine as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Carmont using his range to attack Lawlor with jabs, Carmont then starts attacking Lawlor with a variety of kicks. Lawlor forces Carmont up against the cage wall after avoiding a knee strike, the referee separates the fighters after inactivity and Carmont nails Lawlor with leg kicks. Lawlor charges at Carmont while barely landing any strikes, Lawlor forces Carmont up against the cage wall again while eating a few elbow strikes. Lawlor recovers to catch Carmont with a right hook, Lawlor follows that up by hitting Carmont with a counter right. Carmont responds by throwing a variety of kicks at Lawlor, Carmont then hits a charging Lawlor with a body kick. Carmont shoves Lawlor to the ground as the round ends.

Fight Result: Francis Carmont def. Tom Lawlor by split decision (29-28, 28-29, 28-29)

Fight #11 - UFC Welterweight Division Fight

Johny Hendricks (13-1-0) vs. Martin Kampamnn (20-5-0)

Referee: Dan Miragliotta

Round One

The round begins with Kampmann instantly throwing a high kick at Hendricks, Hendricks chases at Kampmann while throwing lefts. Hendricks then drops Kampmann with a left and he is out cold.

Fight Result: Johny Hendricks def. Martin Kampmann by KO via punch (0:46, R1)

Main Event - UFC Welterweight Title Unification Fight

Georges St. Pierre (UFC Welterweight Champion) (22-2-0) vs. Carlos Condit (UFC Interim Welterweight Champion) (28-5-0)

Referee: Yves Lavigne

Round One

The round begins with St. Pierre quickly attacking Condit with leg kicks, St. Pierre then cracks Condit with a push kick. Condit then cracks St. Pierre with a two punch combination, St. Pierre then scores a takedown on Condit and he gets the open guard. St. Pierre then starts to attack Condit with ground and pound, St. Pierre then transitions to half guard on Condit. St. Pierre postures up on Condit while still landing strikes, Condit attempts to attack St. Pierre while on his back. St. Pierre lands a few elbow strikes on Condit as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Condit attacking St. Pierre with a striking combo, St. Pierre barely misses Condit with an axe kick. St. Pierre then cracks Condit with a straight right, St. Pierre then starts to effectively nail Condit with jabs. Condit recovers to hit St. Pierre with a few shots to the body, St. Pierre responds by hitting Condit with a counter right. St. Pierre then scores a takedown on Condit and he gets the half guard, St. Pierre starts to attack Condit with elbow strikes. Condit eventually forces St. Pierre back into the full guard, St. Pierre also starts attacking Condit with ground and pound. Condit attempts to attack St. Pierre with elbow strikes from his back, St. Pierre allows Condit to stand up and they swing like crazy as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with St. Pierre attacking Condit with leg kicks, Condit then drops St. Pierre with a jumping head kick. Condit then jumps on a hurt St. Pierre and he pounces on him, Condit then attacks St. Pierre with a lot of elbow strikes. St. Pierre eventually scrambles back to his feet, St. Pierre then attacks Condit with a three punch combination before scoring a takedown. Both fighters are trying to attack each other while on the ground, St. Pierre starts to win the ground and pound battle over Condit. Condit wall walks to get the fight standing again, St. Pierre quickly puts Condit back on the ground after avoiding a kimura. St. Pierre advances to the half guard position on Condit as the round ends.

Round Four

The round begins with Condit attacking St. Pierre with a variety of kicks, Condit then lands a head kick on St. Pierre. St. Pierre then scores a takedown on Condit and he gets side control, Condit quickly forces St. Pierre into half guard. St. Pierre then starts to attack Condit with ground and pound, Condit again tries to attack St. Pierre from his back. Condit nearly catches St. Pierre in a few submissions as he postured up, Condit finds a way to get back up. Condit reverses a takedown from St. Pierre and he winds up on top of him, St. Pierre quickly reverses Condit to get on top of him. St. Pierre attacks Condit with strikes as the round ends.

Round Five

The round begins with Condit barely popping St. Pierre with a right, St. Pierre then catches Condit with a superman punch. St. Pierre also starts attacking Condit with some leg kicks, Condit escapes a takedown attempt from St. Pierre. St. Pierre makes Condit pay by decking him with a right, Condit responds by cracking St. Pierre with a straight left. St. Pierre attacks Condit with a punching combination before scoring the takedown, St. Pierre attacks Condit with short range strikes. St. Pierre then transitions to back control on Condit, Condit scrambles to get St. Pierre back into the full guard. St. Pierre attacks Condit with elbow strikes as the round ends.
