More action for this Saturday’s big show!
This Saturday night, C*4 celebrates its massive fifth anniversary, when we present FIVE.  Already announced are several exciting matches, including a one-fall-to-a-finish match as former Champion, Stu Grayson challenges “Ronin” Josh Alexander, as well as “Mr. Wrestling” Kevin Steen and Player Uno joining up to take on former tag team champions, Checkmate, among many more.

Right now we have two more announcements to make concerning this Saturday’s show.

First up… Inter-Gender World Champion, Twiggy, is hoping to continue his “reign of dominance” over the division he has created.  With his most recent victory over Xandra Bale, and his retaining of the title (via DQ) against nCw Femmes Fatales Champion, Kalamity, Twiggy heads into Ottawa this Saturday night riding high.

Twiggy called C*4 management and declared that he is ready to give one of his former opponents a second chance to face off against him to challenge for his Championship.  C*4 was quick to accept on behalf of one Vanessa Kraven.

However, moments later, we received a call from Twiggy’s legal representation stating that due to the restraining order against Kraven, that match is impossible.  Additionally, his legal team has stated that Kraven has broken the order twice without legal repercussions - and if Vanessa were to attack Twiggy again, she would be arrested.  And furthermore, if Vanessa Kraven is present on Saturday night in Ottawa, C*4 would be held legally accountable.

Due to this threat of legal action, C*4 management has banned Vanessa Kraven from appearing in any form, on Saturday night.

Which now brings up Twiggy’s opponent for FIVE…

With Kraven out of the picture for the time being, C*4 management has granted a young Montreal-based talent a “second chance” at knocking Twiggy down.  A woman, who challenged Twiggy at “Madness” in Montreal last May, but due to outside interference, didn’t get a fair chance.

C*4 is excited to welcome, making her Ottawa debut, challenging Twiggy this Saturday night, Angie Skye!

Lastly for today, and rounding out the card, we’re excited to feature the high-flying and exciting tag team of Brent B and Jae Rukin, in action.

Rukin, who has been a member of the roster since the very first show, five years ago – has proven himself in both tag team action and in singles matches alike.  Initially breaking out on the scene as a tag team competitor, Rukin has returned to the ranks over the last year with his partner, the very talented Brent B.

Having come up short in several matches, challenging for the C*4 Tag Team Championship, over the 2012, the duo is hoping to turn things around in 2013.  This Saturday night, Brent and Rukin look to relaunch their tag team gold hopes.

C*4 is working on putting together another exciting tandem to square off with Rukin & Brent.  Whoever steps up, this match will be war!
