A welterweight fight has been added to the upcoming UFC 156 event as Jay Hieron will compete against Erick Silva. Hieron is currently winless in his second UFC run, having suffered a defeat to Jake Ellenberger at UFC On FX V. Silva has rotated wins and losses throughout his UFC career, with his last fight being a defeat to Jon Fitch. UFC 156 takes place on February 2nd at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada with Jose Aldo and Frankie Edgar headlining.
