A light heavyweight bout has been added to the final Strikeforce event as Gegard Mousasi will do battle with Mike Kyle. Mousasi has won four straight entering the fight, last defeating Ovince St. Preux at Strikeforce: Melendez vs. Masvidal. Kyle last suffered a defeat to Rafael Cavalcante, but the decision was changed to a no contest after Cavalcante failed a drug test. Strikeforce: Champions takes place on January 12th at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with Luke Rockhold and Lorenz Larkin headlining.
