by Patrick Stevens on December 5, 2012 – SAYREVILLE, NJ, United States of America

The stars of UWA Elite will wrestle at the Sportsplex in Metuchen on Saturday, 12/15/2012 at 9:00 pm. Proceeds and donations will be given to Toys for Tots for children affected by Hurricane Sandy.

The champions and stars of the United Wrestling Alliance (www.UWAElite.com) will put on a Toys for Tots benefit show at the Sportsplex in Metuchen, NJ. The show, titled "Christmas Chaos", will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2012, at 9:00 p.m. Proceeds will benefit children affected by Hurricane Sandy through the Toys for Tots foundation.

“We at UWA Elite always feel like we can do more to support those who support us,” says UWA Elite President David Swan. “Being a family friend wrestling organization with lots of young fans, it’s only right that we help give back to those same fans. Toys for Tots and the Sportsplex at Metuchen are giving us a great opportunity to do so.”

In November, UWA Elite made national news with its “Last Breath 2012”fundraiser, which raised funds, donations and awareness for those affected by Hurricane Sandy in New Jersey. Due to their overwhelming success, the quality of the show, and massive public response, UWA Elite was invited back to the Metuchen Sportsplex for a repeat performance on December 15th, 2012. This time, the stars of UWA Elite will wrestle in a special year-end benefit for Toys for Tots – something they’ve never done before, and something the wrestlers will do for free.

Fans of UWA Elite and wrestling alike will be treated to a tremendous main event, as FOUR UWA Elite champions will square off in an epic tag team main event. UWA Elite Champion Kyle “The Beast” Winant will team with WWE Legend and current UWA Elite iChampion Marty Jannetty to take on the UWA Elite Tag Team Champions Swag Mean (Robbie Roller & Vin Grayson).

UWA Elite Ironman Champion “Simply the Best” Myke Quest is coming off a huge victory over wrestling star Jay Lethal at “Last Breath”. Now, he takes on CZW Heavyweight Champion Masada in an open challenge Champion vs. Champion match at Christmas Chaos!

In another epic tag team grudge match, Archadia and his new protégé Joey Adams will take on arch-rival Drake Chambers and his partner, the “Steampunk Savior” Eric Corvis! And in two heated singles matches, Dr. John Bowes will take on “The Shore Thing” TJ Blade, and TKO will take on former iChampion Hedges. Also, the Paramount (Brian Brass, Cypress, and Chris Redfield) will take on the popular team of Magic, King Tek and Elder Foreman!

The most personal current rivalry in UWA Elite continues as Sean “Damage” McNelis will take on an opponent of Michael Massacre’s choosing. What will “The American Horror” have in store for the Green & Black Attack this time? And five independent wrestling hopefuls will have the opportunity of a lifetime, as they take on 5 current UWA Elite superstars (Jon Rome, Brandon the Bull, RJ Gerhart, Lowlife Louie, and Dynamike Davis) for the chance to obtain UWA Elite contracts!

For nearly 12 years, the wrestlers of UWA have entertained fans during live events and web broadcasts. Since 2010, these stars have created the most interactive, entertaining, and dynamic independent wrestling product in the area, UWA Elite (
www.UWAElite.com). UWA Elite has produced wrestlers who have gone on to wrestle worldwide, and for such organizations as WWE, TNA, and Ring of Honor. The unique bond that UWA Elite has with its New Jersey roots brought them back to help raise money for those affected and displaced by Hurricane Sandy, especially young people and children.

The SMG Sportsplex is located at 215 Durham Avenue, Metuchen, NJ, 08840. Bell time for this special UWA Elite event is at 9:00 p.m. Tickets are $15. Attendees who bring an unwrapped, unopened new toy will receive a percentage off their ticket price, and their toy(s) will go directly to Toys for Tots in the Metuchen area. There will also be volunteers on hand to take further donations.
