For those who checked in last night to watch Bellator 83, they may have noticed the scheduled tournament finals between Rad Martinez and Shahbulat Shamhalaev did not take place. That is because Shamhalaev got a case of food poisoning and the New Jersey State Athletic Commission would not let him compete. The bout is currently rescheduled next week for Bellator 84, but nothing has been made official as of this writing.
