Following an injury to Hacran Dias, fellow featherweight Yaotzin Meza has agreed to step in and fight Chad Mendes at UFC On FX VI. Meza has won six of his last seven fights, which includes appearances in the Rage In The Cage promotion. Mendes has competed once since losing his UFC Featherweight Title bid to Jose Aldo by defeating Cody McKenzie at UFC 148. UFC On FX VI takes place on December 14th at the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia with Ross Pearson and George Sotiropoulos headlining.
