The brother of Fedor Emelianenko, Aleksander Emelianenko, has announced his retirement from the sport of MMA. Emelianenko has fought such top MMA fighters as Assuerio Silva, Mirko Cro Cop, James Thompson, Josh Barnett, Fabricio Werdum and Jeff Monson. Emelianenko retires with a record of 21-6-0 and his last pro fight was a loss to Jeff Monson at M-1 Challenge 35.
