An injury has forced one-time lightweight title challenger Jorge Masvidal off Strikeforce: Marquardt vs. Saffiedine, he was set to face Pat Healy. Assuming an opponent is found for Healy, it will be the third change of opponent for Healy, who was originally scheduled to face Gilbert Melendez. Strikeforce: Marquardt vs. Saffiedine takes place on January 12th from the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with Nate Marquardt and Tarec Saffiedine headlining.
