54 year old Dan Severn has announced his retirement from mixed martial arts, he retires with a record of 101-19-7. Throughout his eighteen year MMA career, Severn fought such fighters as Royce Gracie, Ken Shamrock, Tank Abbot, Mark Coleman, Jeremy Horn, Paul Buentello, Pat Miletech, Josh Barnett, Pedro Rizzo, Forrest Griffin and Seth Petruzelli. Severn’s last professional fight happened at a Blueblood MMA event in April 2012, defeating Alex Rozman by unanimous decision.
