Middleweight competitor Rousimar Palhares and light heavyweight competitor Joey Beltran have both failed their UFC On FX VI drug tests, both are suspended for nine months. Palhares tested positive for elevated testosterone levels, while Beltran tested positive for a banned steroid known as nandrolone. Since the event was held in Australia, the UFC oversaw the drug tests and issued the suspensions themselves, since there is no regulatory body in the country.
