Fight #1 - Bellator Welterweight Tournament Opening Round Fight

Koffie Adzitso (18-9-0) vs. Ben Saunders (14-5-2)

Referee: Kerry Hatley

Round One

The round begins with Saunders quickly attacking Adzitso with a high kick, Saunders then forces Adzitso up against the cage wall. Adzitso responds by scoring a takedown on Saunders and he eventually gets side control, Saunders tries to roll for submissions from his back. Adzitso tries to attack Saunders with some short range strikes, Adzitso eventually winds up in the full guard of Saunders. The referee decides to stand up the fighters after inactivity, Saunders then catches Adzitso with a side kick before scoring the takedown, Saunders follows that up by attacking Adzitso with ground and pound. The referee again stands up the fighters after some inactivity, Saunders catches Adzitso with a knee strike as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Saunders catching Adzitso with multiple knee strikes, Saunders follows that up by scoring a takedown on Adzitso. Saunders quickly starts to attack Adzitso with ground and pound, Adzitso does his best to try and tangle Saunders up. The referee decides to stand up the fighters after inactivity, Adzitso decides to charge at Saunders while throwing strikes. Adzitso eventually scores a takedown on Saunders after a short struggle, Saunders instantly starts rolling for submissions from his back. The referee again decides to stand up the fighters after inactivity, Saunders quickly forces Adzitso up against the cage wall. Saunders clobbers Adzitso with knee strikes as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Saunders immediately catching Adzitso with knee strikes, Adzitso does his best to drag Saunders to the ground. Saunders eventually winds up on top of Adzitso when they hit the ground, Saunders starts to attack Adzitso with ground and pound. Adzitso is doing his best to wrap up Saunders and avoid strikes, Saunders postures up while landing more strikes on Adzitso. Adzitso tries to scramble to get the find standing and Saunders greets him with a knee strike, Saunders puts Adzitso back on the ground and he gets the full mount this time. Saunders continues to attack Adzitso with ground and pound as the round ends.

Fight Result: Ben Saunders def. Koffie Adzitso by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Fight #2 - Bellator Welterweight Tournament Opening Round Fight

Douglas Lima (22-5-0) vs. Michail Tsarev (24-3-0)

Referee: Jason Herzog

Round One

The round begins with Lima attacking Tsarev with jabs and leg kicks, Tsarev catches an incoming Lima with a kick to the rib cage. Tsarev quickly grabs a hold of Lima and forces him up against the cage wall, Tsarev eventually gets the takedown and Lima uses the switch to get on top of him instead. Lima then starts to attack Tsarev with some light ground and pound, the referee eventually stands up the fighters after inactivity. Tsarev decides to attack Lima with a high kick that hits the shoulder, Tsarev catches Lima with a counter kick to the midsection. Lima drops Tsarev with a leg kick as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Lima immediately dropping Tsarev with a leg kick, Lima continues to kick at the injured leg of the downed Tsarev. Lima again drops Tsarev after a series of leg kicks, Lima waits for Tsarev to stand up before dropping him with another leg kick. Tsarev struggles to stand back up and the referee stops the fight.

Fight Result: Douglas Lima def. Michail Tsarev by TKO via leg kicks (1:44, R2)

Fight #3 - Bellator Light Heavyweight Tournament Opening Round Fight

King Mo (8-1-0) vs. Przemyslaw Mysiala (16-7-0)

Referee: Kerry Hatley

Round One

The round begins with Mysiala attacking Mo with a two punch combination, Mysiala then pops Mo with a left hook. Mo catches a kick from Mysiala before popping him with a right, Mysiala then catches Mo with a kick to the midsection. Mo responds by nailing Mysiala with a few rights, Mo also starts to effectively use the jab on Mysiala. Mysiala goes for a kick and Mo drops him with a two punch combination that forces the referee to stop the fight.

Fight Result: King Mo def. Przemyslaw Mysiala by KO via uppercut (3:52, R1)

Main Event - Bellator Welterweight Title Fight

Ben Askren (10-0-0) (Champion) vs. Karl Amoussou (16-4-2)

Referee: Jason Herzog

Round One

The round begins with Amoussou quickly popping Askren with a right, Askren then scores a takedown on Amoussou and he gets the closed guard. Askren tries to attack Amoussou with some ground and pound, Amoussou tries his best to grab a hold of Askren. Amoussou also tries to attack Askren with strikes from his back, Askren adds in elbow strikes to his attack on Amoussou. Amoussou attempts to roll for the arm bar while on his back, Askren continues to nail Amoussou with ground and pound as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Askren charging at Amoussou while throwing some strikes, Amoussou then scores a takedown on Askren and he gets the open guard. Amoussou rolls for the heel hook on Askren and Askren eventually escapes, Askren winds up on top of Amoussou. Askren then starts nailing Amoussou with a lot of ground and pound, Askren has busted Amoussou open with all of the strikes. Askren eventually transitions to the full mount on Amoussou, Askren eventually resumes his ground and pound attack on Amoussou. Amoussou eventually forces Askren into the half guard, Askren turns up the heat with the ground and pound on Amoussou as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Askren quickly putting Amoussou on the ground with a takedown, Askren resumes his ground and pound attack on Amoussou. Amoussou attempts to attack Askren from his back with little success, Askren keeps himself in the half guard of Amoussou while landing more strikes. Askren returns to using elbow strikes on a very tired Amoussou, Askren then transitions to the full mount on Amoussou. Askren starts turning up the heat with the ground and pound on Amoussou as the round ends.

In between the rounds, the fighter doctor stopped the fight due to the cuts on the face of Karl Amoussou.
