The Bellator 115lb. Women’s Championship no longer has an owner as previous champion Zoila Gurgel has left the promotion and has signed a deal with Invicta FC. Gurgel and Bellator have long been at odds, whether it was due to medical issues or fight promotion, now she will apply her trade to a new promotion. Gurgel’s last fight took place at Bellator 83, where she was choked out in under a minute by Jessica Eye, who will be competing at an upcoming Bellator event. Gurgel will be making her promotional debut at Invicta FC 5 in April, no opponent has been announced as of yet.
