The Cage Warriors Middleweight Title will be defended at Cage Warriors 54 as champion Jesse Taylor faces John Phillips, while Cage Warriors Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor will defend the gold against a yet to be named opponent. Taylor won the gold back at Cage Warriors 51 when he defeated Chris Fields, while Phillips enters the fight riding a two fight winning streak. McGregor is a two division champion in the Cage Warriors promotion and will be entering the fight riding an eight fight winning streak. Cage Warriors 54 takes place on May 4th from the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff, Wales with the middleweight title fight headlining.
