Veteran UFC Lightweight Division fighter Thiago Tavares has failed his UFC On FX VII post-fight drug test drostanolone and has been suspended for nine months by the UFC. At UFC On FX VII, Tavares suffered a knockout defeat to Khabib Nurmagomedov in just the opening frame. Since there was no athletic commission established at the time of the event, the UFC issued the suspension of their own.
