Fight #1 - Bellator Bantamweight Division Fight

Tim Goodwin (7-3-0) vs. Mike Maldonado (3-0-0)

Referee: Larry Carter

Round One

The round begins with Maldonado stuffing a Goodwin takedown attempt, Maldonado then cracks Goodwin with a knee strike as they stood back up. Maldonado drags Goodwin back to the ground and he gets back control, Maldonado then attacks Goodwin with ground and pound. Maldonado lets go off his back control for a short time to attack Goodwin with more ground and pound, Goodwin tries to get back up and Maldonado nails him with a pair of punches. Maldonado then controls the head of Goodwin, Maldonado attempts a guillotine on Goodwin and the fighter quickly escapes. Maldonado eventually backs away and lets the fight stand up, Maldonado attacks Goodwin with leg kicks. Maldonado tries to nail Goodwin with a flying knee strike, Goodwin scores a takedown on Maldonado as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Maldonado attacking Goodwin with leg kicks again, Maldonado then scores a takedown on Goodwin and he gets back control. Maldonado then starts to attack Goodwin with some ground and pound, Maldonado locks in a rear naked choke and Goodwin escapes after a struggle. The fighters stand back up and Maldonado winds back up on top of Goodwin after a failed standing kimura attempt, Goodwin gets back up with Maldonado holding onto him. Maldonado attacks Goodwin with a series of punching combinations, Maldonado also starts to attack Goodwin with kicks. Goodwin scores a takedown on Maldonado as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Godwin cracking Maldonado with a kick to the midsection, Goodwin then scores a takedown on Maldonado and he gets the half guard. Maldonado finds a way to stand back up with Goodwin holding onto him, Goodwin continues to attack Maldonado with a variety of kicks. Goodwin then gains another takedown on Maldonado, Maldonado scrambles and he finds himself with back control on Goodwin. The fighters roll around on the mat with Maldonado remaining on top of Goodwin, Maldonado finds himself in the half guard of Goodwin. Maldonado starts to attack Goodwin with elbow strikes, Maldonado transitions to back control on Goodwin. Goodwin finds a way to stand up with Maldonado holding onto him as the round ends.

Fight Result: Mike Maldonado def. Tim Goodwin by unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 30-27)

Fight #2 – Bellator Welterweight Division Fight

Johnny Buck (11-8-0) vs. Chris Mierzwiak (4-2-0)

Referee: Donny Jessup

Round One

The round begins with Mierzwiak immediately attacking Buck with kicks, Buck then scores a takedown on Mierzwiak and he gets the half guard. The fighters both roll for leg locks on each other and they fail, Buck winds up on top of Mierzwiak when its all said and done. Mierzwiak then rolls for a heel hook on Buck, Mierzwiak eventually gains back control on Buck after a short scramble. Mierzwiak then takes the opportunity to attack Buck with ground and pound, Mierzwiak attempts an arm bar on Buck and fails. Buck winds up on top of Mierzwiak while attacking him with strikes as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Buck catching Mierzwiak with a multiple punch combination, Mierzwiak responds by hitting Buck with a kick to the rib cage. Mierzwiak lands a knee strike on Buck before getting taken down, Buck then moves to side control on Mierzwiak. Mierzwiak forces Buck back into the half guard after a short struggle, Buck explodes to the full mount on Mierzwiak. Mierzwiak patiently waits to put Buck back into the half guard again, Buck attacks Mierzwiak with a lot of short range strikes. Buck returns to the full mount on Mierzwiak, Buck rolls for the arm triangle choke and Mierzwiak escapes. Buck attacks Mierzwiak with more strikes as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Mierzwiak catching Buck with a hook, Mierzwiak accidentally nails Buck low and the fight is hated. The fight resumes with Buck catching Mierzwiak with a two punch combo, Buck then scores a takedown on Mierzwiak and he gets the half guard. Buck then starts to attack Mierzwiak with some short range strikes, Buck moves to full mount on Mierzwiak. Mierzwiak uses the cage walk to get the fight standing again, Buck uses a standing guillotine attempt to get the fight back to the ground. Buck then gets the side control position on Mierzwiak, Mierzwiak uses a scramble to get Buck in the half guard again. Buck again attacks Mierzwiak with a lot of short range strikes until the round ends.

Fight Result: Johnny Buck def. Chris Mierzwiak by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Fight #3 – Bellator Middleweight Division Fight

Kyle Bolt (6-2-0) vs. Joe Pacecho (4-0-0)

Referee: Al Colvey

Round One

The round begins with Bolt popping Pacecho with a few lefts, Pacecho then forces Bolt up against the cage wall. Pacecho then scores a takedown on Bolt and he gets the full guard, Pacecho attacks Bolt with short range strikes. Bolt nearly gets Pacecho off of him by pushing him with his legs, Pacecho eventually passes to side control on Bolt. Pacecho then transitions to the full mount on Bolt, Bolt uses his long reach to get Pacecho out of full mount. Pacecho goes wild with strikes while stacking Bolt, Pacecho remains in the half guard as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Pacecho immediately putting Bolt on the ground, Pacecho quickly moves to side control on Bolt. Pacecho starts to attack Bolt with a lot of elbow strikes, Pacecho turns up the heat with the striking on Bolt. Bolt nearly breaks himself free by using the cage walk, Pacecho starts to add knee strikes to his attack on Bolt. Pacecho then advances to the full mount on Bolt, Bolt uses his long legs to force Pacecho to posture up. Pacecho takes the opportunity to nail Bolt with strikes as he stacks him again, Bolt tries to roll for a leg lock on Pacecho. Pacecho easily escapes and he clobbers Bolt with elbow strikes until he goes out cold.

Fight Result: Joe Pacecho def. Kyle Bolt by KO via elbow strikes (4:02, R2)

Fight #4 – Bellator Middleweight Tournament Opening Round Fight

Sultan Aliev (8-0-0) vs. Mikkel Parlo (9-0-0)

Referee: Joseph Pause

Round One

The round begins with Aliev quickly dropping Parlo with a jab, Parlo gets back up before any more damage can occur. Parlo then starts to attack Aliev with some leg kicks, Parlo catches Aliev with a multi-punch combination. Aliev then cracks Parlo with a right hook to the side of the head, Aliev then scores a takedown on Parlo and he gets the butterfly guard. Parlo quickly scrambles to get the fight standing again, Parlo pops Aliev with some leg kicks before eating a counter strike. Aliev lands a few more lefts on Parlo as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Parlo chasing at Aliev while throwing some strikes, Parlo also starts to attack Aliev with leg kicks. Aliev scores a takedown on Parlo after a long struggle, Aliev then gets the half guard on Parlo while landing a few strikes. Parlo scrambles to get the fight standing once again, Aliev then cracks Parlo with a right to the belly region. Aliev continues to attack Parlo with a plethora of jabs, Aliev continues to pop Parlo with strikes to the midsection. Parlo catches Aliev with a body kick as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Parlo catching Aliev with a counter knee strike, Parlo follows that up by hitting Aliev with a kick to the rib cage. Aliev resumes his body punching attack on Parlo, Parlo also starts attacking Aliev with some leg kicks. Aliev attempts a spinning back fist on Parlo and it is blocked, Parlo then rocks Aliev with a kick to the midsection. Parlo then scores a takedown on Aliev and he gets the open guard, Parlo starts to attack Aliev with some ground and pound. Parlo lands some more strikes on Aliev as he advances to the half guard, Parlo continues his striking attack on Aliev as the round ends.

Fight Result: Sultan Aliev def. Mikkel Parlo by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Fight #5 - Bellator Middleweight Division Fight

Aaron Johnson (12-7-0) vs. Brennan Ward (5-0-0)

Referee: Dan MIragliotta

Round One

The round begins with Ward immediately scoring a takedown on Johnson, Johnson immediately locks in an arm bar on Ward and the tap out follows.

Fight Result: Aaron Johnson def. Brennan Ward by submission via arm bar (0:15, R1)

Fight #6 - Bellator Heavyweight Division Fight

Mont McMullens (2-3-0) vs. David Mejia (4-0-0)

Referee: Al Goldy

Round One

The round begins with McMullens attacking Mejia with a punching combination, McMullens then nails Mejia with a kick to the midsection. Mejia then scores a takedown on McMullens after blocking a kick attempt, Mejia starts to attack McMullens with strikes as he tried to stand up. Mejia then transitions to side control on McMullens while landing some strikes, McMullens tries to escape by using the cage walk on Mejia. Mejia decides to turn up the ground and pound on McMullens until the referee jumps in.

Fight Result: David Mejia def. Mont McMullens by TKO via strikes (4:15, R1)
